Marriage is absolutely beneficial for women when marrying men who have more socioeconomic leverage than themselves. Be smart. Don’t just marry some dude because he’s funny and cute 😐
they haven’t asked us to boycott any media so you can still see movies and shows freely and not be hurting the strikes. promoting it online is more complicated tho so you’re probably right to not do free promo

Plus pregnancy and postpartum is such a taxing experience to endure for an aint shit man when there’s so many PREVENTATIVE options. Vetting a man for father/parenthood is important. Yes any man can get up and leave but at least doing ur due diligence can lessen the likelihood.
ok but people don't use their discernment hence getting gagged. That's why we have our intuition and other people as examples. A lot of women see red flags and ignore them.
From what I understand about the strikes, people are encouraged to go see films as it shows the industry with the people's dollar that writers do matter (especially indie films and ones with original stories). If any films are being made at this time without writers, those are the ones to boycott, but I don't know of any of those and the union probably would make that clearer if it were to come up.
Unfortunately you don’t have to marry them… Halle didn’t marry her first baby daddy and she’s still paying him. Hopefully KeKe doesn’t fall into the same situation with having a child with an unemployed man
I feel like the reason men feel like they can opt out of parenting is because they didn’t spend 9 to 10 months growing a child in their womb, and then going through labor and delivery for said child. women are much more invested in children because we are the ones who nurtured them and brought them into this world. All men did was dump a load and go about their business. Parenthood isn’t as mentally, physically, and emotionally taxing on men as it is for women, so in the minds of men, it’s easier to just walk away. Men can disassociate from parenthood in ways that women just can’t.
