I've been wearing spring twists for over 15yrs. When they first started becoming a thing in the DC area, I've always loved how light & fun they are. I'm glad its trending everywhere now & Beauty you sure can braid!
Same here. I wear this style of twist in my sophomore high school pictures in 2010. I’ve always loved them because of how light weight they are compared to box braids and aren’t as tight as senegalese twist.
I tried this method last weekend because I didn’t want to spend $250 to get these done when they don’t last as long for me. I couldn’t grip prior to learning this method of using your hair as the 3rd strand when starting it and omg! It worked! It took me 10 hours though lol but they came out soooooo cute! I am officially Jamaica ready for under $20! 😁
You’re amazing! I love your work and thank you for being humble enough to share your talent with us. I learned to do spring twist b/c of your videos. God has blessed you with a skill and talent. And I’m looking forward to the growth of your channel and success ❤️
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for doing this tutorial on how to do the twist. After watching many videos on how to install them I was still a little puzzled? But then your video popped up and I'm glad I clicked on and watched, you make it look so easy. Thanks again
Wow! This is definitely an awesome and simple easy way to create spring twist. My daughter really loves this style and I'm so excited to try this technique when I install her twist. Thank you so much for sharing you craft! Please continue to show us your slaying techniques. Take care, be safe and blessed.
Any style I want to attempt I always check out this channel. She always gets to the point and I love her work. You’ve definitely helped me a lot. Thank you, appreciate you Queen 🤗
pouvez vous nous montrer la meche avec laquelle vous avez fait les tresses ? g des cheveux défrise et je veux faire ces mèches mais je sais pas lesquelles prendre
She looks so cute! Nice job! I watched a few of these videos for spring twists andI think Imma try your method when I install mine! It looks the easiest and has great results.
I've tried this style before on my hair but gave up. She's doing a method that I already use on my hair now which is a plus. I'm gone get this go round because I get it now!!!
My goal is to go to Cosmetology school or if not that then do it as a trade but I've been looking for hairstyles just like this. I just want to say Thank you for this video you are really inspiring people and I am one of them.🤗
Love the thickness of the twist, love the length of the twist and you can't see any gaps in between the twists. Love it 😍😍. Just one question, can you start twisting from the root with spring twist instead of braiding from the root?
Looks great and so natural looking. I can’t wait to do mines but I’ve been being lazy 🤣😂 This just gave me motivation 👏🏽 A hair company sent me some beautiful hair to review.
With this spring twist hair all twist are twisted to the right? The Afro spring twist are twisted to the right as well? Some videos are showing twisting to the left. I purchased both types and would like to know please before I get started. Thank you and as usual you’ve done a outstanding job with this client’s hair! Bravo👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Also, I prefer the c parts…..they are easier imo.
I have been braiding for over 20 years and this type of hair is too slippery. I put this hairstyle in and while it's beautiful for the day if you keep messing in it definitely loosens up. And then on top of that my natural hair frizzed up and out of the twist. But I didn't add any gel product. So I went back to a few of them to see how the gel will work. it was better but it still seemed like the spring hair just kind of slipped out of my natural hair.I'm never too old to learn so if anybody got some tips for me I appreciate
Thanks, this video was so informative bout the gripping, this will help a lot, seems easier now to try on my daughter, great job, ur model hair looks great
i use the crochet method with rubber-bands. once my hair is parted and the rubber band is in it i wrap the sring twist around once to hide the band then i twist it down with my own hair
You could do the crochet method where you put the sections in rubberbands and crochet the hair under that and then twist. Or you could just do plats if you don't like rubberbands and crochet that too. A lot of ppl use that method to install individual faux locs

Wohoo. It makes me happy to see she does then the way I do. Its like validation. Lol, I'm learning.
Is she twisting then braiding? I see she ia using the hair as a third strand but how does she make it look natural?
ymcgill62 I’m not sure if you got your answer already but it appears that she is braiding then twisting.

And this music is awesome! I stayed for the hair style and music lol
Very beautiful
Loved how neat and the sections you made. Where did you buy those hair products? Where can i find this song? Lol
It's looking Nice how much packs of spring twists does that
That looks very pretty. Great job.
This braid method slips right out on my hair. Do you have another suggestion?
You could do the crochet method where you put the sections in rubberbands and crochet the hair under that and then twist. Or you could just do plats if you don't like rubberbands and crochet that too. A lot of ppl use that method to install individual faux locs
Are you twisting it or just turning it ma'am
So you don’t have to dip the twists at all?
You make it look easy I'll try this and give an update 😜.
You did amazing job and that young girl is so beautiful 👍🏿👏🏿💯
Where can I get this hair
