I live near her and I’m constantly reminded what an honor it is to still have her. It’s only proper to honor what I consider the greatest relic of World War Two on the 79th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy; she did bring the troops over after all.
I hope one day I get to see her in person. As a Canadian whose not travelled much other then a few places within my own country and as far as Washington in the United States it would be absolutely amazing to see the Queen Mary being as there aren’t many beautiful ocean liners like her still around. Sure there’s the SS United States, the nomadic in Ireland idk if there’s others
Mark I miss being onboard her so much. The last time I spent a night on her was during my honeymoon. My wife and I spent 3 nights on her in a suite and it was a wonderful time. I will forever miss that moment in our lives.
