Encino, with jockey Florent Geroux, wins the 2024 Lexington Stakes at Keeneland Race Track. The mile and 1/16 race was won in a time of 1:43.93. The Nyquist colt is trained by Brad Cox and earns 20 Kentucky Derby points for the win. Runner up The Wine Steward and trainer Michael Maker picked up 10 points for the second place finish. That concludes the 2024 Kentucky Derby preps. Encino is currently 21st on a 20 horse entry list and will need a defection to get into the derby.
