Man that was a lot of work and a lot of money for a rasp handle. Those you can buy for about $5 :p Way cheaper than an angle grinder ;) For your sanding disk I totally thought you were making a bowl lathe.
Во второй идеи я не понял зачем столько деталей, если шкивы одного размера, передаточное число около 1. Почему нельзя было планшайбу накрутить сразу на мотор?

Во второй идее понравился вариант крепления двигателя и натяжитель ремня.
Вот когда прикрутил к бочке сразу было видно что не хватает крыльев!

@@bigteddy66 Thank you. I was aware of similar looking things that could be either screwed into plastic or stuck in with an ultrasonic system, but not metal. Very cool. On the F-14 we had a threaded system, can’t recall the name of it, that would be riveted to the back side of the airframe. I was an airframer btw. Aircraft structure, hydraulics, flight controls, and skin. Those were some fun days and a Damned good aircraft.

I don’t find any of these ideas “shocking” as the title says. While I love seeing you’re craftsmanship I feel like it would take longer than it’s worth too build these tools that aren’t even as ergonomically designed as a cheap store bought item! Great skill but I really didn’t see anything shocking there...
