Another challenge I face is that during international travel you don't require an OTP,hence several times the receptionist says that the card we present is a partner card but then later you get hit with a USD 25 or other denomination charges ,the only option is then to dispute the transaction with your credit card company ..so it is very difficult to say at times if there will be no charge or even if your card says complimentary international lounge visits and the receptionist says its a partner card and is validated.

6:40 wrong information. My HDFC intermiles has 4 lounge access. I had asked my friend to be 5-6 people behind me in the queue. After my transaction was verified, I went back and gave him the card. So maybe after another 2-3 minutes, another lounge transaction happened on the card and it was approved.

I don't agree with you point that if I have 3 cards with my name then I can take my guests also with those cards. I think there is boarding pass check is must.
It used to be, but no more at domestic airports. At least at Mumbai and Delhi airports I personally used it. They just ask for no. credit cards basis number of people entering. They don’t ask for boarding pass nowadays.

I have few questions. How many hours before the flight departure, we can access/enter lounge? Can we access lounge on direct (non connecting) flight at departure airport? How can we confirm that we'll be charged only ₹2, before making the payment? Does the POS machine show price before making the payment? What is the maxium time we can access this lounge before getting charged extra?
Yes, you can access lounge at departure airports after security check even for direct flights. POS machines shows the amount being deducted, you can deny entering pin. Maximum time is ideally 2 hours. But no body checks

Great video sir. You did not mention about lounge key and dragon pass. And what about DCB addon. Does it also offer unlimited lounge access? Some people are saying that at some lounges they have placed problem in swiping second DCB as Hdfc provides same card cumber to addon? Have you ever faced similar problem? Some say they have swiped DCB primary only twice for 2 people access? And isn't DCB better than infinia as you can take anyone with you as it is without priority pass?
Thanks. I used DCB for myself and my family, and never faced any issues. DCB Add-on also provides unlimited lounges. Never used same DCB twice for multiple entries, but it might work as card numbers are same on Add-on HDFC. Please mention here if you could use DCB twice at the same time for guest visits. With Infinia, you can use your credit card also instead of Priority Pass at domestic airports.

So in a way its better than priority pass for which the same name person can only enter

Diners black allows unlimited lounge access to both Add on and Primary Card holders. And both primary and Add-on cards have same numbers, so it might work. I haven’t tried it, although

I have few questions.
How many hours before the flight departure, we can access/enter lounge?
Can we access lounge on direct (non connecting) flight at departure airport?
How can we confirm that we'll be charged only ₹2, before making the payment? Does the POS machine show price before making the payment?
What is the maxium time we can access this lounge before getting charged extra?
Yes, you can access lounge at departure airports after security check even for direct flights. POS machines shows the amount being deducted, you can deny entering pin. Maximum time is ideally 2 hours. But no body checks

Nahi, Singapore airport lounge per card par jo naam he wo passport se match karte he. Jiska card he wohi ja sakta he. But you can still try.

Yea, IDFC Wealth card Add-on card holders also get lounge access. IDFC provides Dreamfolks card, not priority pass.

Great video sir. You did not mention about lounge key and dragon pass. And what about DCB addon. Does it also offer unlimited lounge access? Some people are saying that at some lounges they have placed problem in swiping second DCB as Hdfc provides same card cumber to addon? Have you ever faced similar problem? Some say they have swiped DCB primary only twice for 2 people access? And isn't DCB better than infinia as you can take anyone with you as it is without priority pass?
Thanks. I used DCB for myself and my family, and never faced any issues. DCB Add-on also provides unlimited lounges. Never used same DCB twice for multiple entries, but it might work as card numbers are same on Add-on HDFC. Please mention here if you could use DCB twice at the same time for guest visits.
With Infinia, you can use your credit card also instead of Priority Pass at domestic airports.
@@SpendWiselyOfficial some of my friends have made their guests enter using DCB at lounges outside india as it offers unlimited swipes and sometimes the charges are shown in statement but they remain unbilled and are not added to monthly statement. So in a way its better than priority pass for which the same name person can only enter

Diners black allows unlimited lounge access to both Add on and Primary Card holders. And both primary and Add-on cards have same numbers, so it might work. I haven’t tried it, although

I had use this priority pass at Dubai airport along with my wife had add on priority pass, then also they have charged me 1 guest member for my children.. now why they charged children as guest? Also how we can apply priority pass for children as they don't provide them for under 18
