56:40 Yeah for anyone wondering about the specific rules - daybound/nightbound have a bit in their rules text explicitly saying "this creature can't transform except due to its daybound/nightbound ability". So moonmist and its ilk straight up can't affect them. Wonder if they'd ever make an alchemized version of Moonmist that also includes "it becomes night"
Oh man, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for making this! Tovolar has been my favorite commander for sometime on Arena, and was the guy who finally got me to make my first paper deck for commander awhile back. I recognize that while he's not the most competitive, I find him and werewolves to be a ton of fun. It's so cool to see some focus on him and I'm very excited to take some ideas here and put them into my current brawl deck. Not the least of which will be the best werewolf in a werewolf deck, the best angel in an angel deck, and the best human in a human deck: Roaming Throne Editing this comment to add the very real truth about Tovolar: He's insanely easier to play online than he is in paper lol. Cards don't automatically flip to their backside irl =\
@@Amazonian I vividly remember wandering into my first FNM all alone, sitting down with 3 strangers with this super budget werewolf deck, and informing them all who I was playing and I could feel them holding back the eyerolls. They were very nice about it, especially since I was brand new to paper and not great at keeping track of normal things let alone day/night, but yeah I felt the frustration I caused. Still love this guy though, but he's best played on Arena for me most of the time.
Agreed! I picked up a bunch of innistrad packs from a lgs and loved the idea for wolves myself, ever since Tovolar has been my coolest commander of the bunch lol
Thanks for playing/updating this - werewolves had slipped my mind and I was never happy with any WW decks I came up with, so this might be fun to try. Also, “werewolf? There wolf… there castle” “why are you talking like that?” “Oi fought y’ wan’ned oo “ 😂😂😂😂 What a great movie
Tovolar werewolf brawl deck = must watch from me! He was my first brawl commander and love the werewolf/wolf tribal theme. Glad to see you update it and run it back out Amy.
I love how in your Borb and Fbl video you at one point said somehting about Tovolar not being that good of a deck, but then when you brew the deck it goes on a 10-1 run or something like that. It's like he heard you and took offense xD
I really like innistrad (werewolves specifically ❤). However I really hate the fact that there are 2 different mecanics on werewolf transformation (day/night + old cast none spell = hence why moonmist didn't trigger on your day boundmonsters) it's extremely odd they really need to make some alchemy cards that make this thing easier and less confusing 😅. Anyway very cool and fun video as usual ❤. Btw I have a question, when you play colors like red and green (like tolavar) do you focus more on building board rather than interact with the enemy's board ? (I am used to playing black, blue, white and I am almost all the time interacting with my enemies cards. Otherwise I find it impossible to catch up 😅)
To be fair, during the Imoti game (commenting during this game, not throughout), when you explain to us your process, the opponent sees you hover over the cards giving more of a tell to them or would explain what your next steps were instead of just keeping "quiet"
It's been a year since Shadows over Innistrad Remastered was released and they still haven't fixed that pesky Immerwolf bug... Small indie company moment
It's not a bug, Immerwolf's ability was preventing a non-human werewolf from transforming every time that state-based actions were checked and so it played the animation and sound that happens whenever a static ability prevents something from happening.
i realized why immerwolf was having a meltdown is because it was day time and since tovolar is day/night bound state based actions was constantly checking and trying to flip tovolar but immerwolf said NO THATS NOT ALLOWED CUZ I SAID SO and so every action was going to cause immerwolf to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I SAID NOOOOO THATS NOT ALLOWED
Tovolar was the first deck I played in Historic Brawl, during the Innistrad block, loved the format ever since. My two other all time favourite commanders are Yarok and Korvold, would love to see your take on them. :)
When I heard the cold open my brain just auto filled it to "here a wolf, there a wolf, everywhere a werewolf" Just thought you'd like to know that and enjoy/suffer accordingly
hello, I copied your decklist but as a new arena player i have no idea how to get these cards, I only have the starter decks and the starter bundle. which packs should I open to get this deck exactly? thank youu
Amy has gone 0 days without posting a video with Roaming Throne.
Previous record was 2 days.
sorry not sorry

If it’s day, a creature can’t transform into its night version and vice versa. That’s all you have to know. That’s what the “bound” part means
Except for immerwolf. Non-human Werewolves can’t transform

Very funny watching Immerwolf constantly remind you that it is preventing Tovolar from flipping during the day
Somebody tell this dog to stop checking. State-based triggers
Hey Amy…why is it a bad idea to teach a wolf to meditate?!? Because then it becomes an aware wolf…(horrible pun I know). Great video as always.
56:47 it's a Moonmist-ery
Ha!

I saw this deck live this morning
Also wouldn’t mind my fave Syr Gwyn getting an update. Love the videos!!!
Missed this live, looks like a fun commander!
FIRST!
@@Amazonian Awww man. Missed it again.

We love a good werewolf deck. I was wondering when you might upload another one since there's been a few new cards. 🐺
Ah, my first edh deck. How the time flies.
Where’s all the comments? Videos been out already for a minute
these people got an hour of werewolf action to watch first!
@@Amazonian that’s a lota minutes
There wolf. There castle.
how do you have Minsc in your deck I can't add him to any of muy decks or make a Minsc deck and I know I had him crafted as he was in an old deck
Infinitely disappointed the intro line wasn’t “Who let the dogs out? I let the dogs out!”
I love runebound wolf. This dog kills control players for messing around
Ah yes, wolfing throne
Tovolar is 'fairly' aggressive. Understatement.
the old transform cards dont effect the new daybound/ night bound werewolves
I feel like the only person playing the first sliver slivers
Can we add Skrelv to the queue? He's my favorite gross (cute) bug (Phyrexian)!
Everyone asks were wolf, but nobody asks why wolf...
Whywolf?
Immerwolf is now in Arena btw
would love to see a florian deck
I love this deck ❤
Wolves are back!!
Can my boy captain n’gathrod get a chance?
He ain't in Arena :(
@@Amazonian that’s criminal
Plushies ! 🥺❤️
Do you here me?
