  • Installing walls, butcher block countertop, and two showers in a sprinter van. This is a super exciting episode of this van-build series because we finally have walls and running water. We are seeing the van start to come together which is so rewarding after putting so much thought into the design and layout of this van. We used 1/2 inch birch plywood for the walls which was a great call that came out looking seamless and very strong. We filled all the holes/seams and sanded multiple times to achieve this perfect look. We also used 1 1/2-inch birch butcher blocker and Watco Butcher Block finish for the countertops and it came out looking amazing.
This van will also have 2 shower options, the full shower inside the van and an outdoor shower at the back of the van. We finally got to water test everything and found no leaks so we were able to continue on with the rest of the van. This was also the stage of the build where there were so many little random things that needed to be done so the things listed above are just the major accomplishments in this week's video but so many little things were also done which may seem to why we may be a little everywhere in this video but it's all apart of the process, at least that's what we tell ourselves.
Thank you guys for watching and we will see you next week!
