Her best team is ZL/albedo for premium. Or you can pair with Noelle/GMC for quick swap. And the rest will be double pyro to buff the dmg. As Artefact, Ning was very versatile char. Mine using 2 petra + 2 gladiator still do 20k dmg each pebbles in burst. And I'm using Memory of Dust
What makes her so good is that her burst hones in on enemies with 12s cooldown and 40 energy. So shes consistantly bursting. Also, her burst creates 6 gems (not 5) and an additional 6 if she has her shield onfield while bursting.

I always thought it would be cooler if her ult was dropping the jade chamber instead of throughing a couple rocks but I realise if her ult was that epic they would have had to make her a five star
Her current ulti is fine. But one problem with it is the homing gems from her ult fails to land on the target if Ningguang is in a tight space. The gems get caught on the ceilings and walls, not reaching the enemy. Sigh

I still play with her sometimes. Fun fact: She crystalizes shields when you use her skill on the Oceanid. She saved my low level alt acct until I got better people. Anyway, I am rocking an aggravate team right now.
i love those guys, i use Noelle and they bring Gorou/Yunjin for me, that's so wholesome even once happened that everyone in coop got all of the characters that i'm using in my Noelle team (Yunjin, Gorou and Albedo). that was actually unexpected
As a Ning main, my highest dmg with her was: 26k per every jade from ult. 75k charged atk. 89k jade screen dmg. Abyss buffs helped, of course. In real world dmg a bit lower. But yeah, this i basically why i main Ning. (if you're interested in stats 73/205, if i change feather i can go 65/225, but i prefer crit rate more)

But of course there's also chance that she'll get an EM buff from that weapon so i was going to change it. I decided to buy a battle pass and get her a Solar Pearl. It's a solid weapon for her if you decide to play her as main dps and not only as burst support. I was gonna to refine it as well, but the fate said otherwise. I got lucky and got Lost Prayer from the standard banner 2 months later. This became her main weapon from the get-go. Still use it till this day. I also got her Kagura's Verity just for the experiment, but i found that weapon not very comfortable to use with the Ning. If you have Dodoko's Tales you can use that as an option too. Atlas is fine as well. As for the artifacts: i usually go two-to-two split. 2 piece Archaic Petra + 2 piece Gladiator (or any other 18% atk bonus set). But there're two more ways to build Ning. If you don't have good Petra pieces, you can go 2 Glad + 2 Shimenawa for example. It also works. Or if you play her as burst support, you can go 2 Petra + 2 Noblesse, or 2 Glad + 2 Noblesse. It will depend on what set has better stats overall. As for the main stats: atk% in sands, geo bonus in goblet and crit rate or crit dmg in circlet. In substats you want to see crit rate or crit dmg. Atk% is also good. And because Ning's burst is cheap one, you don't need much ER on her. 120% is enough from my experience. As for the teamcombs, i usually use her with Zhongli + Benny + Xiangling. But i've seen some teams with Mona or Xingque, or Noelle. Sometimes people use her for geo buff in Itto team (if they don't have Albedo). Also if Xiangling is busy in some other team i've seen people using Yanfei or Klee with TTDS as a substitute. Also i must warn you that Ning as any geo is hard to build. She requires a lot of investment and nearly ideal artifacts (like mine are all around 40cv value, except the crit dmg hat and sands). Of course if you're lucky then it's not the problem, but in case you're not - i just have to warn you that you probably won't see huge dmg until you almost crown her or give her 60/170 build at least. Just saying. And of course you'll need to lvl up every of her talents because even jade screen can provide additional 30-50k dmg per cast (for me priority was normal atk, burst, skill. But some people prioritize burst before normal atk). Something like that, sorry for the wall of text, i hope it'll help you.

I mostly played tactical/turn based/puzzle games growing up so genshin play style is definitely something kinda new for me. I understand there's dps characters and support characters, but sometimes I wish I can make these support characters into dps too (just for fun), but it's been hard since I'm still understanding alot of the mechanics of the game and characters. Like it's obvious in other games to put defense sands on the character, because it'll improve one's def. But in this game it's not preferable because it may ruin your dmg overall, unless character uses def to boost their dmg. It can be a bit confusing, but that's what makes it unique i guess. And i also understand your desire to build everyone dps, but in most cases it's a waste of resources and can stagnate your account a lot. Unless you're a whale and can afford such expenses.
Ningguang is the first character I triple crowned (and I also gave her the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds) 🙌 I always get a laugh out of saying "her door really slaps" - she's such a queen when she slams the door in the enemy's face and it hits for 24k 👑

As a triple crowned Ningguang main since release I still use her to this day. She’s so good, and I still don’t have Zhongli. Once I get him she’ll be even better
Ningguang is a beast even if not C6. She has been my best dps in my early genshin days and I still use her now. She has been my boss killer and is still viable now. I always recommend new players to build her. Thank Hoyo they made her a 5 star disguised as a 4 star.
I’m still amazed that it was well over a year of playing before I finally got my first Ningguang. Mine doesn’t have great artifacts but she still hits hard!
Aaaah... My Ningguang always bring me to the victory... As an f2p, that's a blessing... Her skill damage is quite high, and have a chance to cancel the skill CD, and give you more energy bubbles... My artifacts are not very good, but that's already make my Ningguang OP 😂👍
in my earlier days of playing ning with very little investment, i noticed she'd get her burst on cooldown without much effort at all. made it my priority to raise her burst talent levels and jade screen and she's such a fucking powerhouse. i always joke that if it weren't for the cooldown, her burst would essentially be her normal attack. the funniest part is that i've yet to receive a DPS catalyst weapon, yet can still solo enemies with an HP catalyst lol. i love that she never dies but i can't wait to get widsith or sacred prayers to see the real ning dps god.
any meme aside, from all the catalyst character she realy seems like one that could actualy fight and be used as a main dps, the other beeing lisa probably. Her attack are pretty interesting using the rock that can AOE with her C1 that its basicaly only what she need. She might not be the most broken or optimal character but she seems fine and more importantly cool to play, a bit sad i recently started the game and i cant have her skin which is stunning
i think nigguang is the second character i pulled. at that time i didn't know that when wishing, purple is 4* and yellow is 5*. right after i got her, i realised she's a 4* and i was super confused. i was seriously convinced that she's a 5* because just by the look itself, she really looks like a 5*.
Ningguang at the begining suppose to be one of the 5 star characters from liyue but ending being a 4 star still has higher multipliers, she was my first character i up to lvl 10 friend ship and triple crowned character she'll always my queen

Ningguang main in my main account. Awesome dps, homing missiles, tiny shields through reactions. Mained her pretty much from Liyue release, and still main with her. Always felt she was slept on. Paired with zhongli, shes great. Yet to c6 Gorou.
Btw ningguang hits 12 times but with ult is elemental skill was in field and considering 1-3 shards will not hit we can say that her ult hits at least 9 times and 22k x 9=198k I know most people know this but i just wanna say this for people who don't know

I was today years old when I learned you can destroy that thing before the one-shot without electro. I never really read the whole sentence omg it just says "more quickly" not that other elements are impossible, damn, no wonder I fail every class
As a Ning enjoyer I have to say she never disappoint. She might not be top tier but I never have an issue killing things with her or get 12 star (unless the abyss resist Geo) and her ability to hit moving target/ramged is definitely great. Her burst cost 40 with 12 sec cooldown and her E can be done twice cuz her talent tho 6 sec CD for energy so if you time it correctly you can have 100% up time on her burst without any ER on her. Oh and her charge cost no stamina if you do normal attack first. So first Zhong/ALbedo then Bennett skill>burst>XL Skill>Burst>then Ningguang rotation that took about 8-9 sec and repeat. The key is to use her N1>skil>Charge>Burst before particle reach you, this will destroy your jade and reset the CD from 12 sec>Charge>N1/2>charge>n1>charge> then 6-7 sec should have passed so use your skill and you will get energy and if you have Zhong/Albedo pillar aim it at their construct so that your skill will hit the enemy and deal damage+generate particle but also get destroyed to reset the CD (6 cd if destroyed, 12 if not) then switch to your other character. This way you will take advantage of Bennett burst until the duration run out every rotation. She just kinda terrible for AOE cuz her dmg doesn't scale with enemies number just like Shenhe but Noelle/Itto exist for a reason I guess but she is not terrible at it, I still beat most mob stage abyss just fine with her. I have her C6 for almost 2 years and I use skyward atlas r1, my team is usually Bennett+XL+Albedo/Zhong depend if I need more damage or shielding, she deals 25-35k on her burst despite lacking 4 set artifact, honestly I'm tempted to grind 4 set Petra since XL deal a lot of damage in her team and the 18% atk buff from the 2 set isn't a huge deal with my crowned bennett around but getting the right substat will be pain so I'm not sure yet, too many artifact to grind smh. Oh and make sure your Bennett have Fav for battery and your XL have more than 230 ER or use fav so that she will have 100% uptime without switching back and forth to battery from bennett (or let her use the catch and put fav on zhong) As great as she is unfortunately she has 4 main weakness - no artifact 4 set that fit her well and the 2 set kinda meh just like Fischl - Mainly single target damage dealer - No 5 star BIS weapon like the Mist Splitter or Jade cutter but catalyst (or 4 star like Albedo) - No specialized support, Bennett is her best buffer and she need a geo pair but no one is a great support for her, Albedo scale of def so can't benefit from Bennett while Zhongli is overkill with bennett around for the defensive side. Gorou best geo support for anyone who scale of def which she isn't, she also don't work with Yunjin cuz most of her damage is from burst then charge and skill Yet despite all that she is still a great character with a complete skillset that is fun to use and work pretty well in most situation and have decent result unlike Dehya
She's so easy to build it's criminal.. you don't have to worry abt er since she only has a 40 energy burst, she doesn't have any special scaling like Def or hp and her artifacts you can get pretty easy since you just build atk and some crit + geodmg goblet and bam she's doing 11k e skill.
Yeah i just put 2pc +2pc set on her and she only has a 120 over 60 split as she is just a quickswap burst qupport, her e does more then 10k and her burts hit for 12 times 3 to 4k.
I didnt touch my ning until i hat to farm the geo wolf boss un tatarasuna for itto, and then i realized that, danm, i should have been using her that whole time. Imagine me going for a new boss with a character i never built and getting insane numbers on it and super fast ults. That was absurd. Im scared of misusing her now lmfao

Aaaah... My Ningguang always bring me to the victory... As an f2p, that's a blessing... Her skill damage is quite high, and have a chance to cancel the skill CD, and give you more energy bubbles... My artifacts are not very good, but that's already make my Ningguang OP 😂👍
in my earlier days of playing ning with very little investment, i noticed she'd get her burst on cooldown without much effort at all. made it my priority to raise her burst talent levels and jade screen and she's such a fucking powerhouse. i always joke that if it weren't for the cooldown, her burst would essentially be her normal attack. the funniest part is that i've yet to receive a DPS catalyst weapon, yet can still solo enemies with an HP catalyst lol. i love that she never dies but i can't wait to get widsith or sacred prayers to see the real ning dps god.

she is 5 star(in my opinion), a main dps without any energy issues and quite big multiplier
any meme aside, from all the catalyst character she realy seems like one that could actualy fight and be used as a main dps, the other beeing lisa probably.
Her attack are pretty interesting using the rock that can AOE with her C1 that its basicaly only what she need.
She might not be the most broken or optimal character but she seems fine and more importantly cool to play, a bit sad i recently started the game and i cant have her skin which is stunning

i think nigguang is the second character i pulled. at that time i didn't know that when wishing, purple is 4* and yellow is 5*. right after i got her, i realised she's a 4* and i was super confused. i was seriously convinced that she's a 5* because just by the look itself, she really looks like a 5*.
Ningguang at the begining suppose to be one of the 5 star characters from liyue but ending being a 4 star still has higher multipliers, she was my first character i up to lvl 10 friend ship and triple crowned character she'll always my queen
after her burst she will create 7 jade that can be release with charged attack so the total dmg is def higher. she is my 1st main at lv90 c6
Lol there was this one leak that her normals would turn into charge attacks after going thru the Jade screen when she’s like c6 or sum I wish they kept that😭
Ningguang main in my main account. Awesome dps, homing missiles, tiny shields through reactions.
Mained her pretty much from Liyue release, and still main with her. Always felt she was slept on. Paired with zhongli, shes great. Yet to c6 Gorou.
at 0:44 she use her burst without jade screen present so she can do more damege
Btw ningguang hits 12 times but with ult is elemental skill was in field and considering 1-3 shards will not hit we can say that her ult hits at least 9 times and 22k x 9=198k

I was today years old when I learned you can destroy that thing before the one-shot without electro. I never really read the whole sentence omg it just says "more quickly" not that other elements are impossible, damn, no wonder I fail every class
As a Ning enjoyer I have to say she never disappoint. She might not be top tier but I never have an issue killing things with her or get 12 star (unless the abyss resist Geo) and her ability to hit moving target/ramged is definitely great. Her burst cost 40 with 12 sec cooldown and her E can be done twice cuz her talent tho 6 sec CD for energy so if you time it correctly you can have 100% up time on her burst without any ER on her. Oh and her charge cost no stamina if you do normal attack first.
So first Zhong/ALbedo then Bennett skill>burst>XL Skill>Burst>then Ningguang rotation that took about 8-9 sec and repeat. The key is to use her N1>skil>Charge>Burst before particle reach you, this will destroy your jade and reset the CD from 12 sec>Charge>N1/2>charge>n1>charge> then 6-7 sec should have passed so use your skill and you will get energy and if you have Zhong/Albedo pillar aim it at their construct so that your skill will hit the enemy and deal damage+generate particle but also get destroyed to reset the CD (6 cd if destroyed, 12 if not) then switch to your other character. This way you will take advantage of Bennett burst until the duration run out every rotation.
She just kinda terrible for AOE cuz her dmg doesn't scale with enemies number just like Shenhe but Noelle/Itto exist for a reason I guess but she is not terrible at it, I still beat most mob stage abyss just fine with her.
I have her C6 for almost 2 years and I use skyward atlas r1, my team is usually Bennett+XL+Albedo/Zhong depend if I need more damage or shielding, she deals 25-35k on her burst despite lacking 4 set artifact, honestly I'm tempted to grind 4 set Petra since XL deal a lot of damage in her team and the 18% atk buff from the 2 set isn't a huge deal with my crowned bennett around but getting the right substat will be pain so I'm not sure yet, too many artifact to grind smh. Oh and make sure your Bennett have Fav for battery and your XL have more than 230 ER or use fav so that she will have 100% uptime without switching back and forth to battery from bennett (or let her use the catch and put fav on zhong)
As great as she is unfortunately she has 4 main weakness
- no artifact 4 set that fit her well and the 2 set kinda meh just like Fischl
- Mainly single target damage dealer
- No 5 star BIS weapon like the Mist Splitter or Jade cutter but catalyst (or 4 star like Albedo)
- No specialized support, Bennett is her best buffer and she need a geo pair but no one is a great support for her, Albedo scale of def so can't benefit from Bennett while Zhongli is overkill with bennett around for the defensive side. Gorou best geo support for anyone who scale of def which she isn't, she also don't work with Yunjin cuz most of her damage is from burst then charge and skill
Yet despite all that she is still a great character with a complete skillset that is fun to use and work pretty well in most situation and have decent result unlike Dehya
She's so easy to build it's criminal.. you don't have to worry abt er since she only has a 40 energy burst, she doesn't have any special scaling like Def or hp and her artifacts you can get pretty easy since you just build atk and some crit + geodmg goblet and bam she's doing 11k e skill.
Yeah i just put 2pc +2pc set on her and she only has a 120 over 60 split as she is just a quickswap burst qupport, her e does more then 10k and her burts hit for 12 times 3 to 4k.
I use her as main field but I can't get any damn crit artifacts. I have been farming for her for a month now.
@@MJAY552 in a month you cant expect to get a perfect build, it should be kinda decent tho. The crit artifacts will come over time
if ningguang was 5*, she would be a perfect standart banner character
I didnt touch my ning until i hat to farm the geo wolf boss un tatarasuna for itto, and then i realized that, danm, i should have been using her that whole time. Imagine me going for a new boss with a character i never built and getting insane numbers on it and super fast ults. That was absurd. Im scared of misusing her now lmfao

She's the most proper 4* character, catalyst user with geo dmg bonus as ascension stat, she's perfect that I give her 3 crowns
C6 of Ning Ning is totally broken. Create 7 jades after use the burst is like use a burst again. Is the only one that allows to use "double" burst.
