Now this is more like it. Its amazing how 6mm makes such a difference. 40mm for this is perfect and I agree under with you. Under 5K its not a bad option for a field watch with Solar power. I wish it came with the green nylon strap from the bigger one. The 46mm one with the black dial and green strap is perfect looking in my opinion.
You can still buy this and get a green nylon strap.. which will still enhance the look I think they have a black dial variant.. get that and have a green nato

My first impression is captured here, I will certainly create a video after using the watch for few months which will throw light on durability and claimed features. The all steel GShock you mentioned is awesome feature loaded. But I personally do not trust modded GShock as the quality does get compromised.
Can I fit a miyota automatic movement inside this 40mm case, does it have that much space inside? I know it is kindof weired but I am trying to do something different as not many mechanical field watches available with the screwdown feature and decent lume at this price.

Your videos have tempted me.. but if someone just wants the field watch style with solar, its a good option.. However for military feel of it Gshock DW,5600 Tough solar would beat this value.. Fossil has come a long way bringing new options for their non watch enthusiast consumer base which is definitely commendable and this is a good addition .

There is no charge indicator in entry level solar movements. 30watt led bulb at a distance of 70cm should be kept to charge when you have kept it long in dark place. No need to worry about overcharge as there is overcharge protection in this movement. Otherwise regular exposure to natural light should be enough to keep it charged.

Sir today I bought 'Anglo Swiss watch co.' Vintage manual winding 17 jewels watch just at 400 rupees from a near lokal Store. This watch is very old but i am shocked when see the movement have no rust and looks like new. I am so happy🎉
