We saved $900 to $1,200 by replacing these headlight ourselves! It had to be done in this case - but seeing the results, it would be worth doing regardless of whether one of the lights was smashed or not! Every once and awhile I have to do something off of the 'honey do' list, and if it's of interest to anyone out there, I film it. Not of much interest to the regulars, but I'm posting two videos tomorrow to make up for it. Both of tomorrow's videos are of my grandson Luca and I taking a nice fall walk 😊

Wow thats unreal all the mesding around you gotta go thru for what used be a simple fix. Sure saved a lot of money from having take it a dealer! 👍😊❤️
Thanks Dave! When the dealer wants more than the car is worth for a semi-simple fix, you just gotta do it yourself! 😐
Your clips came out way better than they did on my wifes 2005 Element, all of which I ended up replacing.
They are so cheap! Most body shops just replace them all so it doesn't matter to them. It's a little more important for people like us! 😮
The last headlight I changed was an actual large bulb held in place with a bezel back in the 70's! Everything is different these days!
I remember doing that as well. The vehicles were much sturdier back then!
Thanks for the video
You are quite welcome Jim!
Helpful video! Did you ever do a video for aiming the headlights?
Well done sir, but for me, this is a job I leave to the mechanics 😉
Most people will do the same, but with money so tight these days, more and more will have to do it themselves!
New headlights makes it look years newer, plus I imagine that you can see better too!😄
I agree, it looks much newer with the nice clear headlights! They throw off a lot more light as well. Money well spent 😊
Thanks for the vid, very helpful!
You're welcome!
