- This is a video covering some of the odds-and-ends that I would have liked to discuss this year but didn't get a chance. It's mostly talk about some interesting pens that don't really fit into any of the major themes or categories that we covered in 2023. I used the Uni-ball Signo Gel Stick about twenty years ago when I was living in Taiwan. I remember it being a smooth writer that lay down a pretty wet line - it struck me as a versatile "go to" pen, especially with its sleek shape and monochrome color scheme.

These Schneider ballpoints are great. I bought one for 85 euro cents. It is sturdy, has a nice grip and a nice light blue ink. I keep it next to my bed for quick book notes.
I have the Sakura Ballsign ID Plus, the version with the metal tip and lower center of gravity. It's a fine pen but what I really like are the Ballsign Vintage Color refills. I love the Forest Black and bought tons of reserve refills of that color.
You’re videos are great, thanks so much for taking the time to share your writing utensils and your opinion. I have picked up more than one pen after seeing it on your channel. I find the Frixion highlighters are perfect for Bible pages because they don’t ghost or bleed through the paper and can be erased so everything stays neat. Thanks again and Happy New Year 🎉

Maped was always on TV ads during my childhood in my country, they had/have all kinds of basic school materials, but I wouldn't say anything special about it except that they're more marketed m towards kids

Love all the weird stuff you have presented. After this video, I got a Maped Visi*Pen, a 3-pack, I think I lucked out, because all 3 actually write. Of course my hieroglyphics will never approach yours, but even if it's not exactly a Jetstream, it's a competent writer for short notes, annotating stuff. And a great conversation piece! Looked for the Schneider k-20 ice, but Ama**n only sells them in 20-packs, although for a very reasonable price. Keep up the great work for 2024!

Hi, apart from Zebra pen have you ever mix and match other pens to make one Frankenstein full metal pen?
Maped is French so I think it's pronounced Ma-pay or Mapé. Stress the last syllable, not the first.
