@@natedenooyer9899 I'm 16 and got a 92 2wd single cab for 3500. Best first truck ever. I just ordered a carpet kit and am currently making a seat bracket for a pair of 2001 Celica seats. If you do decide to look at one you are considering purchasing, look out if it sounds like a diesel (broken timing chain guide) and frame/body rust. My chain guides broke after 1 month and I replaced them by myself for around 150 dollars with metal backed ones but it's a fairly difficult job. I also have fender and tailgate rust but those parts are about 75 dollars each. Lowering kits are cheap and the 5 speed manuals are great fun. Good Luck!
I love that you used the 4x4 front fenders. I always liked the way the 4x4 side-markers pointed up instead of how the 2wd pointed down. It's a subtle difference, but it's a slightly more aggresive look.

Back in the say I had mini trucks and even a astro van I lowered. Sold it all to raise a family. Now I building a 1996 Toyota and your truck inspired me to build one. Love lowriders

Nice to see the aero is functional. I build alot of splitters, undertrays and diffusers, and the setup on your truck definitely looks the part. A lot of people overlook the rear support struts on the front sections, and if you're fast enough you'll actually get some unwanted flexing. I build alot of e36 based parts, and those struts look very similar to the ones I incorporate into mine. Very clean work, and a cool project overall! 👍😎
Really appreciate you taking the time to put up a parts list...Looking to upgrade my heads lights from stock...and dapper will do the trick for me. Again thank you very much. Am following for more inspiration. Much love from Zambia.
I had 2 of those Toyota pickup trucks in the pass. Seems like they never die no matter how you abuse them. Now my 99 Tacoma is showing me the same love with 2003 Mustang rims.
I have a 92 candy apple smoke Toyota 22re. I'm in the process of getting either a 1jz or 2jz but $$$ so it's going to take time. Much love to all the Toyota pickup guys and gals who make there own personal transformations and touches to there rides☮️🙏

"Nobody builds these things," I had an 89 toyota pu, went from Lowrider to performance in the early 90s. Mini-trucks are the best. A lot of fun to drive or cruise.
Dont fall into the mistake of going into debt. Get a good education, get a bad ass job, so you can earn more $$$, work hard now so you can play harder later!
Ahhh this brings me back memories when I had my Mazda B series mini truck. That was 🔥 🔥 Fire. My paint job cost more than my truck lol 😂. I had a Blue metallic paint job on it. And for $1000 more we made the roof T- top
Yup this channels gonna blow up calling it. Also fuck man that’s such a sweet ride never really was into the whole mini truck scene like my guy in the video said. I started with a sports car for the first whip then got into off roading suvs and picked up a 4Runner I’ve been messing around with but man now I want an older mini truck this build is fucking badass
I really like those corner lights. I’d like to make something like that for my 1990 4Runner and 89 pickup. Would you be able to do a tutorial on how you did it and where you got the led strips?
THIS is a Super CLEAN Mini-Truck Build! I dig your Build Taste, "Hide numerous Functional and Aesthetic Details, as subtle as possible.". I really like your attention to details when it came to surface contrasts in colors, tones and textures!
Really great build! All except no engine swap or build? I have an 87 Toyota Pickup that's lowered with coilover conversions front and back. It has a rare stock 22RET Turbo version of the same 2.4 that these trucks mostly had. It was in a 4runner that I bought that was wrecked. I got the 4Runner for $500 and the engine alone was worth more than that. Only other thing the truck has is the rear end from a Tacoma S Runner with an LSD. So the truck actually handles very well and drifts pretty damn nicely. It's only driven about once every two weeks though. Gotta keep the miles low, but I do use it. I love it too much not to.
I know I'm 3 years late but I have always wanted to build a "mini" and a toyota is what I have always wanted I like Nissan Mazda ect ect but there's something about the style and look of a Toyota that makes it look like it's supposed to be slammed lol and you have to have the "yo" on the tailgate😁✌🏽
Hey I got a 98 Toyota Tacoma extended cab I want to put different wheels on it I don't think I want a lower so what do you suggest size tires I seen some o9 Mustang wheels I got five loads 511 4.5 bolt pattern biggest thing I'll having a problem with his outfit and I think I can put those Mustang wheels on cuz I seen them on another truck
I miss the mini truck days. Now everyone wants something big

It's cheaper to buy a full size truck than a mini truck nowadays tbh

thank you! I thought the exact same! Looks killer 😮💨
Lol. He said “nobody builds these things” son you weren’t around in the 90’s , believe me we built them!
Mr T i realized that after lol ive only been in the scene for 5 years but i guess i meant they really aren’t built in the style I gave it 😬
living in a desert facts lmao, never saw it that way until my friend nicknamed my pickup the “militia truck” and now it’s burned into my brain
These and the Nissan hardbody and Isuzu pu and Mazda b2300 and the Mitsubishi mighty max were the top in the mini truckin scene
jimmy tran - your absolutely right.

I built mine in 92 the year I bought it from the Yoda dealership I still own it 32 years later and drive it 3 or 4 times a week. Nice!
Once the signal light turns on at 2:50 I was like, WOAH! that is something for this old car, I like it!
If I had money for it, I would have a fleet of these kind of trucks. All with different engine/turbo/supercharger combos. Then aesthetics are endless.
