"you're a lot of things, but you're not a murder" lol is that really the best thing you could say to a guy you willingly let go down for murder when you're trying to convince him to save your life.
dw967 Tbh, whilst I do not think Jane deserved this, looking at it from Max's point of view (I'm broad minded!) he could have turned to her and said, before walking out, "I WASN'T a murderer-but I am now!"
Yeah and no one has even mentioned it again, max is the cause of Stephen dying when he shoved him against a metal counter causing internal bleeding - yet no writers or characters mention it again
Stupid death and the fact nothing was mentioned again but One of the last great years for Eastenders. It felt like a quality drama, not a soap. And with years of build up. 2017 was Max’s year. God, 2017 only feels like yesterday and 20 years ago all at the same time. Pre covid
@@saizaybae not really talking about the characters as they didn’t know. The writers never mentioned Stephen again or brought up the fact that max caused his death. It was totally ignored and forgotten about
@@aryastark772 his death was mentioned by lauren - there's no real reason to talk about him considering his daughter isn't in the show unless she was then i guess we could have a reason
That is it. The end of Max, there is no coming back from this....I think Jane survives but she goes in a coma and the ambulance that was knocked, is Steven. Ian will suffer a loss, but it will be Steven, not Jane.
Well Jane did that to protect Bobby, while it was wrong, but as a mother, she was only trying to protect the boy she raised. Ben, in a fit of anger, when he wasn't thinking straight, killed Heather, it was manslaughter. However, Max, that is cold blooded murder, he riles up Steven to kill Jane and then in the end, leaves Jane, who is paralysed, to die an horriable death, being burnt alive. So yes, you can't come back from that, when you leave an human to that fate....even if Jane survives, Max, in my eyes is a murderer. Max has done a lot of questionable things, he has been forgiven but not for that.....
I agree. Yes Jane was wrong to let Max go to prison for a murder he didn't commit but she tried to save him by committing perjury in court to give him an alibi. What Max did was evil - premeditated cold blooded murder. Even Steven redeemed himself because though he started the fire he couldn't bring himself to leave Jane to die and now Max throwing him against that table/counter is probably what led to Steven dying.
Why is everyone saying she went in a coma? I thought she moved away because a few episodes after she was calling Stacey and telling him about Max and trying to give her signs. And she wasn't in a coma.
That's why Bobby pushed her. After she let max go down and carried on like nothing happened. Jane, that's the best you could say? He's better but you weren't, really Jane? She might also hate him for how he did Tanya her best friend
Ok call me naughty names but I'm actually rooting for max to take down all who wronged him. Ian, Jane, Lauren etc. Let's face it he was an innocent bloke who suffered months on end in prison all because of a little kid killed Lucy. Ideally it would of been Ian and Jane who would also be arrested for wasting police time. God knows how they got off scot free? But needless to say, max isnt the real villian. Just a tragic, lost, broken man. He didn't have an easy childhood for starters.
Lauren obviously is against this because Max was child abusive he shouted at her really mad and grabbed her and threw her onto the couch in front of Abi and his ex-wife Tanya. Jane obviously is against him because he nearly killed and started making threats if you tell anyone I left you in the fire to burn I will actually kill you. And he forced her to leave the Albert Square and Ian they had many fights in their house.
jp007830 yep cause they will know the fire blanket was in the restaurant kitchen and if please God they find Jane in the kitchen and rescue her somebody will remember and say hey wait a minute didn't Max Branning run out with a fire blanket on him? Then they will cotton on to the fact that he was in there with Jane and didn't bother to save her.
That's what killed him , max pushed him into a sharp end off a table which made his liver bleed out a she died , hated his storyline but I actually miss him 😢
@Stacey Mangan I miss Jane , id rather be friends with her than you so Kevin Prior is right , you max fans get bullied and im ok with that , dont expect me to defend the Max Branning Fanbase anytime soon you BITCH Fuck you
Isnt eastenders meant to be a scripted reality show? Was always taught in school that a fire can spread throughout a house in just 40 secs but these guys have time to chat shit for hours
I thought Jane was alive and she moved away to another part because she was on the phone with someone a few episodes after the fire and she wasn't in a coma she was in the car ringing Stacey or Ian.
Shaquille Hinds, never said he couldn't watch it. my question is why is he watching it? if i thought a movie or tv show had bad acting i wouldn't watch it. The one thing about EastEnders viewers is that they like to bitch about things related to the show, where the simple solution to it is not to watch it. But no. they spout their *opinions* on near enough every episode of the show and its all criticism xD fucking goons

hypocrisy of Jane considering her stepson is the one who murdered Lucy.
+Liam Williams no Bobby did
+pink sign Okokuku Oniru thats what I meant!
I never thought Max would be capable for such a thing
After all this time, who would've thought that Steven would end up dying for Jane
I mean why did Abi and Steven die but they stupid parents are still alive I mean they have a daughter
Yeah and no one has even mentioned it again, max is the cause of Stephen dying when he shoved him against a metal counter causing internal bleeding - yet no writers or characters mention it again

Because it was a accident,he didn't actually kill him

They will also find out Steven died from internal bleeding.
Max killed steven because the corner of the table made him have a liver bleed and that's why he died
@Mark Lynn shut up
Wait his liver was there?
Laurie Brett(Jane) is a brilliant actress
Every-time I come back to this and I still have no slight remorse for Jane, she deserved it
um no
yes she did.
All this gets swept under carpet, Jane was still alive, am sure she left a voice mail

Ashley Rhee yeah they investigated his death.
