I seriously doubt it since it was already a nightmare to try to get 10 finished and I believe it was at the brink of being cancelled. I don’t think anybody would be willing to remake the old episodes as much as I would like to see it.

You know what the coolest part is? Sega could very well do a full length game like this. They're obviously not shy of experimenting with fun concepts since they released Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog ( a lighthearted, visual novel style, murder mystery game) basically out of nowhere as recently as April 1st 2023. And with Frontiers being an enormous departure from the boost games they've been comftorable with for over a decade And its not like they don't have people experienced with making and animating sprites, just look at the eyecandy that was Sonic Mania. Not to mention that they've hired/worked with fans like Christian Whitehead to make that game. Literally the only thing they would have to do is take cues from fan games like this series and Sonic FFX etc. and we'd have something here. *Obviously,* this is just wishfull thinking, nothing more, but its cool to think about.

Unfortunately, the Wave Warrior Sonic is pretty much canceled, which is a shame, as it was interesting with cool and diverse attacks and the story was interesting. Wish we got more. As for the girl that turns into a butterfly boss, that character was Tikal. In that story, Tikal and Shadow were childhood friends and she got turned into a butterfly like dragon. Sadly the game ended in a cliffhanger.
