March 2022: Walter Koenig clarifies who’s the good guy and the bad guy in the Nichelle Nichols situation - reassuring for those of us who are uncertain as to the ethics of purchasing autographs from or photos with her at her continued convention appearances with her son. I’d tended to think the fact that her TOS costars (like Walter and George Takei) happily posed with her and didn’t speak out about her appearances indicated that she wanted to continue attending those she did, and this is reassuring on that front.
