Syrian Refugee Crisis - Public Health Disaster?

The resurgence of polio 14 yrs after being eradicated in the region, an unspoken PTSD related mental health crisis, an increasing number of cancer patients being left untreated -- these are just some of the health problems unfolding in the Syrian refugee clusters in Lebanon. While most attention is usually on the casualties of the Syrian Civil War, these unfolding health issues need to be addressed too ... before it is too late.
