Marshall, the leader in professional amplifiers. Such a long list of endorsees speaks for itself. Such as....uhm.....where are they? Where did they go? Why did they leave? Whose left?! What?! We aren't talking about bluetooth speakers, we're talking about guitar amplifiers Steve. No, those are headphones, we want guitar amplifiers Steve. Nobody cares about PC speakers, t-shirts, or beanie caps. ....Nevermind.
I saw that they lowered the prices. $2200 for a JCM800 is fair….the $3500+ they were asking was absolutely absurd. I hope they don’t move production overseas tho.

Great video presentation, thanks again! Quick question for all of you guys... would it be a good thing to start picking up brand new Marshall amps (EL34 only, not modelers or solid state) and cabs as an investment? I've got two Marshall valve amps and 1960 cabs that get played through almost daily and have already been thinking about getting two more for real usage. But maybe, it would be a good idea to get those two amps and keep them boxed up to be used only if/when Marshall's amp production gets up from 5%. BTW, I would never buy a Marshall Bluetooth anything or buy any type of Marshall branded clothing. I'd get 100W heads, maybe EL34 combo amps, and cabs (especially 4x12) only. Thanks again!

Please help Marshall perpetuate their heritage. They still have a substantial presence in the popular conscience as one of the founders of loud rock in history. Last Sunday I was casually rehearsing with some friends. A girlfriend, who is actually a great singer and piano player referred to the combo amp I brought as „your Marshall“, even though the Combo is a Boss and has not similarity whatsoever with a Marshall amp, besides the fact of producing high gain rock guitar sounds when played right. For her, an amp that can sound „high gain“ is, by definition , a Marshall, which says a lot about the imprint that Marshall has in the popular culture, even today in 2024.

25:23 If they're going to "Improve" On The Code Series, they need to use a FR Speaker instead of the cheap Vietnamese Speaker they're using. I have the Code 100 HD and I use it with the Cab Sim off with the Code 4x12. That's is something I would tell them.
They could pull off modeling, just put it into a head and just model classic amps, and rare studio amps. Kinda like the solid state Fender amps that sound close to the original tube amps.
I hope to run into you in a dark NYC alley someday. We can order some kosher food and hang in the back of the alley with my cuddly service dog. Cause I’m a Jewish NYer and don’t beat anyone up either. People tend to be scared of NYers because we tend to be busy and in our own worlds, but we are kind and helpful when approached. And when there’s an emergency in this city, everyone helps each other. But it’s wrong to assume that we are all cold and unfeeling people. Sure there are some, but most of us are not that way in reality.
I’ve known tons of direct people in my life. Being direct is an important quality that helps relay information and opinions honestly and openly, but it doesn’t mean you also aren’t a kind and feeling human being. People think they know you because of what they see on the screen, but they clearly aren’t watching to the part with the animals at the end. An unapproachable human being would never be so kind to all of the animals in their care - and proudly show them off each time they make a guitar video. If people can’t tell you’re a really nice person from all the animals at the end, they need a pair of glasses.
Don’t ever change. I really do hope to get the opportunity to meet you someday. You seem like the type of person I could talk to about dogs and guitars all day if given the chance.
Hopefully you’re at that meeting as well speak or it’s going to happen soon, judging by the time difference. You have valuable experience to share and you’ve even thought to send questions and concerns from lots of other concerned musicians and music fans who love Marshall and are worried for its future. I’m hoping you’ll see some things you like from the R&D people, and hopefully you can make some suggestions that will bring Marshall into the forefront of music again. It hasn’t disappeared, but it’s lost a lot of major names because the company isn’t keeping with the times using more current amp tech and providing features musicians today need whether they play from home or on stage. I hope you come back feeling encouraged and hopeful for the future of Marshall, even if you can’t divulge the details to us.

How about inventing the best power soak cab loader in colaboration with Celestion OR a cab or a Head that does all that and sponsor free Marshall cabs for live venues, like to they used to?
I use a Marshall code head as a preamp plugged into an EL34 power amp, into a 4x12. Sounds decent. The stock power amp is shit, noisy etc. But a digital/tube hybrid head would be great!
A quality FRFR would be a really good start
I watch him since 2017 or 2018 and finally i can say: I like his sweater.
Oh and.i met him in 2018?2019? at Musikmesse and he is 100% a really nice guy, pleasant to talk with and 100% the crazy guy he is in the videos.
Also fair game from Marshall to invite Henning over and seemingly being open to criticism, which was about time. We all want to see Marshall do a redemption arc. But please no Modellers like the Code or floor modelers. Its gonna be tough to get in that game in later 2024, as long as you dont revolutionize that market. In modern tech, its a constant race. Coming in years later requires a really state of the art and above car to get in front.
Suggestion: Pauiie or HP42 guitar picks as gifts to give away, to friends and visitors, would be neat, I think, and relatively inexpensive.

So correct. All you need to do is look at the difference in components across the range to see that they are false marketing their products. Most of the transistors etc are sourced from Vietnam; whether you have a £300 amp or £3000 the board and components are the same. If you want a good Marshall today, save and buy one from the early 70s.

Maybe they need something like a power amp to sit on top of the 212s that looks like a traditional head, that all the other modellers can plug into? Gets the visibility and on stage sound. Maybe powered cabs like Laney have done?

If Marshall could do a better modeller so be it but I don't think their unit would be superior to the existing floor modellers. Based on what you said they need to make FRFR speakers and powered cabs.

That being said, today I tuned in to listen and watch guitar... I don’t talk politics on my socials. I answer honestly when asked, but no one cares who I say is best, so I don’t. I pray and hope... I am no perfect person and a bit of a loser at times in my life trying to “make it” lol or have success in industry. 😊I just unsubscribed because I am voting for the guy you are pointing at me about. I’m educated and raised 7 kids; have 27 grandchildren. I know what struggle is and suffered from crippling illnesses in past years... I was country ghetto most of my young life. I do know, that everyone I know, love ALL Americans, even if we don’t agree with someone; they are “us” Souls and hearts and minds that believe what they do for their reasons, and that’s cool, cause that’s what a vote is supposed to solve. We even screw that up now... 😂❤ We must have the hate or cant breathe it seems, sociologically... If you are talking about Guitar Center used goods, then I completely agree with you! Their delivery is just terrible. I once ordered a Marshall CODE, and it came to me poorly packaged and, accordingly, broken. Now I use the Egnater Tweaker 15, which I bought new from Musician's Friend, I am quite happy with it, even though I know that they are a subsidiary of GC. But in terms of new goods, I have no complaints about them, only used ones. In most cases, I use Amazon to buy accessories. But if suddenly I need to buy a new guitar or a new amp, which is unlikely, then it will be Musician's Friend.

For the companies, I'd say everybody who's buying things should pay good attention to which are not working with you, cause if they're afraid of your review they must know they're selling crap.
For Marshall, that's also a bit surprising, I'm not very deep in the subject but from what I heard recently it really didn't seem like they would want any sort of advice.
Henning, you are an honest person who is telling the truth in the german way (direct) and not the "polite" way as used in UK or US. I got the same feedback when I worked in an international environment. I was told, that it's rude to be so directly honest. However, I like your honest information.

Volume is the biggest problem some venues do no want you rocking up with a 100 watt head and cab they just want you to plug into there PA system, I agree that the amp floor modeler would not get there brand name visible, but if you put the same modeler as an amp head with a floor pedal it would it would solve that problem and also fix the weight issue that bands don’t want to lug heavy items around, the long game is you have to cater for the home guitarist with a product like the jcm800 irx pedal because they are your next up and coming bands, if they have always played Marshall they are more likely to stay Marshall as they get bigger. They could also just put a captor x into there amp heads people at home can use them straight into their computer to record and also if they go to a venue it won’t melt the sound guys face off.

What do the "brands" think? If 👉 you don't like their product, you will tell them that and maybe tell them what's wrong and if they are willing to do same change about it, they can come back and you will maybe give it a second chance.

My 2-month-old Marshall amp was in service for 6 weeks, and it never worked right after so I just bought a Katana Gen 3 Artist. So much for QA... I'll return to Marshall after Henning's feedback is implemented. And PS: Almost 200K subs is not tiny, and it was built on expertise - not just "cute" videos designed to get clicks.
It will likely take Marshall going bankrupt, the business ending, and then a savvy group of amp builders to buy the trademark and build hand made quality amps again for them to become relevant in the amp world ever again.
