I believe his side of the story. I think he was very gracious and downplayed Rihanna’s part in the issues between them. His demons have been on display for all the world to see because he has been transparent from the beginning. But, I believe Rihanna has a dark side to her that she keeps hidden. There is never an excuse for being physical against a woman, ever. But I’ve seen first hand, woman that provoke men to physical responses by initiating physical aggression because they are so emotional and filled with fury. The feelings are so intense and you aren’t in control when you’re in that head and heart space. Rihanna grew up watching her father physically abuse her mother just as Chris did. I believe they were both obsessed, insecure, possessive to the extreme, with the core of a very passionate sex life to bind them. No one talks about what she did, and she’s content to let the world keep punishing him even while maintaining a bond with him to this day. One thing I know: ASAP Rocky is not the answer for her, I don’t care what anybody says. Having his children is not going to bind him to her like she’s hoping. When she did the interview with Diane Sawyer and Diane Sawyer asked her if they had been drinking, she lied and said no. When Chris was interviewed and re-told the story of how the incident happened, he said they’d had some drinks. It was the Oscars after all. That little lie was a red flag to me and I had to look at her differently. That she tried to get back with him after it happened was another red flag that to me spoke to her own issues from her past. Everyone has something. We r all sinful beings. I admire Rihanna, but I am team Breezy all the way because he is a musical genius, albeit a flawed one. But his songs telegraph all his feelings and that means something, to me at least. That is why I will always be Team Breezy.
