Yes! This motivated me to turn off notifications AND focus on creating conversations outside social media. I actually don’t mind creating content and reels lol but I’ve found my self WASTING a lot of time scrolling! That’s where my boundaries need to be established. Great episode Kelsa. For me, nothing better than an eye to eye contact and a hand shake. A small business owner in my BNI group approach me about talking to his employees. He sees his people get good pay but never have any money. I had not thought of this approach before but do believe it's worth pursuing. I can give a 30 to 45 minute wide angle talk and then find the ones interested in help. That referral and group talk can't be done electronically.
I completely agree. I love real, human to human interactions! Social Media has its place, but for me, the in person connection has always served me best. Sounds like a great opportunity to do a workplace presentation. I have done many over the years and it's a great way to get out, deliver value and have more people know about what you are doing and how you can help! Good Luck!
