Today I "review" Amazon's most Average-priced electric scooter, the Yadea KS5 Electric kick scooter. Not a bad buy for the price! Super fun!

For $700 might as well just add an extra $100 and get the Segway Ninebot Max, but either way good review.

My gf and I have turboant x7 pros and they go just as fast as this one and we got it on sale for $420. We love them!
You can source them straight from the factory in China on sites like DHGate for less than they retail, I got mine for £456 including postage and at the time they retailed for around £650 - £700 in shops. My dad bought one from a shop and I can confirm it wasn’t a counterfeit scooter upon comparison between the two, not to mention it connected to the Segway app without an issues too

Apart from the extra handlebar break and suspension it's a rebadged Xiaomi
It's not bad but I think it is is a tad overpriced, especially when you can get the fluid free horizon or Zero 8 for about the same price and it is actually brand named and outperforms at 25 mph

@@Prxsumo there's not much difference in the way that 30 mph feels from 40 mph. 40 mph is nice but again that's not everything. For me, I like a scooter that's low maintenance. Personally, I would take a solid tire scooter any day. But to each their own and there are many different scooters for different folks.
I am right on the edge buying the Arial. $2999.00 is quite a bit to lay out for a new technology scooter. I won’t get it to my house for months and months. Back order city! But your opinion goes a long way with me! Have to just pull the trigger and order one! Thank man! Not sure, I just had it in sport mode and it does 18.6-ish-mph
My Gotrax vibe scooter is 300 including tax from Amazon and it’s very good.It goes like 12mph,has cruise control and has a long lasting battery.I think it’s really good

This scooter is ok but there are many 700$ scooters out that are better. The FluidFreeride horizon is 700$-800$ and it has 25 miles of range and can go 20-24 mph with 19-21 miles of range on sport mode. Tons of reviews out there about this scooter it’s highly loved

Great review and I would love to see a comparison test on KS5 and KS5 PRO vs every e-scooter in that market range like the Segway Max.
I mean like a comparison test against 5 other cruiser e- scooters in that price range because no one reviews KS5 or KS5 PRO against Hiboy, Max and others that the KS5 PRO can clearly beat.
I got a KS5 PRO with 700wp that has a top speed of 21mph and 41 miles.
Naturally I got the KS5 PRO because I am 6'2 and right at 200 pounds do to the 241 max weight that it can hold.
Crazy thing that happened to me the other day was I'd topped out at 27mph.
So the KS5 PRO has a limiter or restricted to 21mph but however it kept breaking at 21mph as if it was wanting to go faster.
The thing was I wasn't on a down hill slope so I didn't think 🤔 it needed to break to restrain the speed limited at 21mph. However It ended up going 27mph which I was a little shocked n nervous but because I had to come to a four way stop I slowed down.
I felt like it wanted to go faster than 27mph and I believe it would've done 30mph or more.
After that little mishap I've been riding daily but it hasn't done that speed since that happened.
I would love to unlock it's true potential to make it faster so if you come across an app or some way to unlock please post a video thanks and great work on review 👍
I bought one last year and it throws an E0 code. Back wheel locks up and it beeps.
This scooter is pretty bad tbh here is why i own a Kugoo G2 Pro E-Scooter you go 32 mph you got a built in horn which is louder then the bell you got bigger tires you got more lighting but none for the back which is o well just buy one for the back but apart from that its better in my opinion and it costs £700 so not much of a difference

I bought the Yadea KS5 and one major issue is THE CRUISE CONTROL STUCK and I couldn't disengage it. Had to use both brakes, jump off the Scooter and almost crashed! I had to turned it off in the app. Very unsafe issue but everything else works fine.
The build quality on this unit looks surprisingly good for the price!

Greetings, I have a Xiaomi pro 2 and I need a more powerful one. I need to know what% of slopes this skateboard climbs and even cooler if you compare it to a xiomi.

I cant go more than 25 km in Sport mode
i have ridden one of these almost every day for almost a year now. range is nowhere near 25 miles, more like 10ish. i havent ridden any others before but it is crazy heavy, but all the weight being put in the bottom makes it handle pretty well. motor is in the rear wheel so it likes to slip in water or on a tight turn if you go into it the wrong way. after about 4ish months of constant usage the rear fender(?) started to rattle. got so bad i ended up ripping the thing off. cause its some random Chinese brand im super worried on how im gonna replace anything. any info i can find is in very broken english. honestly if you need something for alt transportation in a large city or recreation i would just go with a low end ebike, compact form factor is not worth the shoddy craftsmanship.

Hiboy s2r for $300 cheaper is a better buy for the same speed plus a removable battery. The removable battery is a game changer

Want to ride 3 miles to the gym daily on electric for under $1.5k. What do you recommend? Lectric seems like the logical choice but scooter looks crazy fun.
Scooters are fun! It's all preference. The P1 Pro is my go to to throw in the trunk of a car, but eBikes are my go-to for a commute type ride

Yadea makes a lot of electric bikes like road going scooters ( as in moped ) and they are decent quality

I have a TNE Q4 V3 1300 watt single motor scooter version. Paid less than 800. Actual top speed 47km per hour and range 55km. I'm pretty big (6'3" 190lbs). If you were smaller, it would go fester and further. It's much better than this.
Why limit to 25 miles buy a scooter with a removable battery a backpack at least one fully charged battery in you pack. They the battery alone don't weigh that much.... maybe two?

Ks5 pro is a bit better for. $664 all i can afford but this one is now $543. But where i live is alot of flats and only a few hills.
Can you hack these to make em go faster and/or do you think its worth the extra $$ for the pro?? FYI Amazon prime day has this for $100 off and the pro $60 off.. Thanks brother!
