Docs will work great!!! I wear docs to work for the last 25 year. They will make some comfortable skates. Good tip would be to drill the holes a bit bigger. Most people don't drill the holes big enough and fight to get the screws in. Docs will be extra difficult if your holes aren't big enough.... Let me know if you have issues...
@@freeflydenny thanks for the response man I failed to mention that my wing tips are low top and they are steel toe however they really don’t weigh all that much and I ordered some Avante magnesium plates they should be here next week along with my fibers, i’m hoping by saving a little weight with my plates and wheels that may offset the steel toe?? If for some reason they don’t work out I have Stacy Adams as a back up and like four pairs of vans pro I can tear into

So from what you said in the beginning anything smaller than 38mm needs to modify the plates. Does that mean a standard 39mm fiber wheel will fit onto century nts plates with any modifications

No problem! I like the Stacy due to the hard sole... I don't like the feel of shoes on the bottom of my foot. The NTS plates are my favorite I don't like toe stops and the whole set up is super light.. The super X are too heavy.

We have only two rinks in our state and they both just told me they dont allow wood or fibers. Fomac is as far as i can go so its looking like fomac slicks for me.. So much for my skate build.
@@freeflydenny oh that’s fine thank you , my dad had passed away 5 months ago and sometimes I go to the rink and I see people have these on and I just see how free they can be . I’ve been looking for these specific ones , need a new hobby to get my dad off my mind

Sk8fanatics. I will do a video on jump bars when i have time. Its a bit complicated. If your jump bar is high " stock" its the same. Just cut the lower cushion and put it back together.
