♥♥♥♥♥ #WishingTikal About: Hey there, I'm Gen, or Tikal. I worked years on Gamefaqs writing walkthroughs. Now I make video guides out of them. I do 100% collectibles runs to show where all of the secrets are. I record all footage all by myself, every single one, and edit them together to remove mistakes, or loading times, to make for the best and most fluid viewing experience possible and help others. My walkthroughs are usually of superior quality, so pick mines! I record in 1080p most of the time, except my older videos which are in 720p. I use HDPVR2 to record. I work the hardest possible to provide you the best gaming help. All games are posted with permission from the owners and some game codes are also often given by the publisher. I mostly use El Gato, Hauppage HDPVR, OBS, XSplit or any other program I need depending on the game to record Thanks for watching my videos! ♥
This was one of the few games I had as a child that I had never heard of prior to getting it as a gift. It was decent enough for what it was
Pk was my first favorite game
Is the final boss Daffy doing a masculine voice?
Its general Zondag from the comic series the game was bases upon. The original comics were a lot more adult and deep than the average Disney comic and this videogame.
Nostalgia...
Comic book > Videogame
I don't remember Zondag's energy wall/fence-thingies going invisible like that
Also "just call me... PK" and basically all other dialogue is hilarious, the cutscenes aren't super great which probably means this game was rushed (why though? the comic book license wasn't going to become irrelevant it never even took off as far as I know)
And then there's the energy ball activation sound that never stops getting more layers and crashed the game for me once
Also I liked how the thorns in his lair resemble the rayman 2/M thorns
The license DID take off, just not in the USA
I'm not from the USA so I wouldn't know tbh, it had like 1½ series in the Netherlands and then just kinda died
Schrikvis the main series did last two "seasons". There was a third that was VERY ill received, and is disregarded as non canon (the last issue determined it was an alternate reality within the Duck family multiverse).
The series has now been restarted on Mickey Mouse weekly here in Italy, to excellent reviews. Who knows...
@@EvrainBrandigan The third series was actually an unconnected reboot made in an attempt to make the character popular outside of Europe alongside the game. As you said, it was ill received and flopped hard due to some very bad choices (like eliminating fan favourite characters like Xadoom and radically changing the rest), and so did the game, that I personally find a lackluster attempt to adapt PK as a videogame since it played too safe for its own good (they could have added Angus as a comic relief character that tries to present PK as a menace but fails and has to be rescued once during the game, or maybe flesh more the antagonists.) and as a result the series never took off and got canned.
Fun fact! The dialogue of Paperinik in the last issue was basically an insult towards the entire reboot, telling the Donald Duck of the PK universe that nothing of what he did was as memorable or important as what he did and because of him now everyone will forget about the PKNA universe and his characters. Considering that soon after the reboot was cancelled Disney's attempt to reprint the original series flopped equally hard, dooming the PKNA-verse to oblivion for years, he wasn't wrong.
@@emanuelepolloni4002 no need to tell me the whole story, I own quite literally every single volume of every saga up and including PKNE :-D
4:10 Something tells me that’s Rob Paulson voicing the Alter ego.
Disney's Donald Duck PK: Out of the Shadows All Bosses | Final Boss (PS2,
Gamecube)
BOSSES
Zoster
Zondag
Really sucks how there are only two bosses.
Yeah shame. I really like the voice acting of the final boss though for some reason lol
★WishingTikal★ Yeah, it's so awkward it's funny. XD
Childhood Reliever Yeah while i`ll thought the game is awesome i kinda wished it had more bosses because the 2 that were in the game look iconic.
Considering the amount of memorable villains the comic book series has (a time traveller thief, a rogue ai that at one point manages to take over the evronian fleet, the evronian emperor, an evronian general with mind powers that tortures psycologically his victims with nightmares, many mad scientists...) it's a shame that they used only 2 of them.
Wait... this game has a gamecube version?? Didnt know that!
Great game
rw:this has to be the voice of Rob Paulson for PK ^_^
