I was actually waiting for Realme 9 pro around October/November as back then the release schedule was new generation every 6 months. Realme 6, 7, and 8 were very similar to each other and 8 was not worth the money at the time. Then they announced that it was delayed for 2022, and then there was the brilliant discounts for the GT master where the 8+256 version was available at 22.5k. It had a new well reviewed chip, had a 120hz amoled screen, 65watt charging and a good amount of 5g bands. The only decent competition at around that price was the buggy Redmi Note 10 pro series which had hiked the price so many times. So it was a no brainer to go for the GT ME.
ME TOO BRO EVEN I HAVE GT MASTER ALREADY BUT I DIDNT SEE A BIG DIFF just camera and sound n rest every thing is similar while during offers master is cheaper than 9 pro + i bought it under 21k only

In my class, 2 friends apart from me have the realme gt me and bought it cause it was a pretty good deal. My friends have the normal version while I have the vegan leather, while everyone who held both models said that the vegan leather looks cooler and feels nice to grab, the vegan leather model is heavier and the weight difference can be felt when you hold the phone particularly with the back cover. The normal variant is light weight while the vegan leather is at least medium weight or feels slightly heavy and doesn't feel as light as the other with tempered glass and back cover. Hope this helps
