Although the members said they were nervous to try something new, that is unlike what they are most known for, I think it also helps to establish their fresh start as newly independent artists who are free to decide their own path from here on out. Although with their b-side songs on their 13egin album you will hear more of their signature style and sound, so they still stay true to what makes them uniquely Infinite. Infinite is also known for being one of the first groups to focus on making their choreography hyper synchronized and they have been coined with the phrase "knife-like synchronization." Those sharp dance moves are what they are known for. You need to check out their dance practice videos for these songs to really see how impressive their choreography is. Yes, not only is Infinite known for their dancing, but they are also a vocal powerhouse group that sings live while dancing these intense choreos. Infinite -- along with SHINee -- is one of the second generation groups that is credited with changing the focus of dancing within the Kpop industry. If it wasn't for SHINee and Infinite upping the game and showing everyone that it was possible to have sharp synchronized dance moves while singing live and be able to pull it off flawlessly, the industry would probably be a lot different today. "The Eye" is a reference to the eye of a storm. One theory is that "The Eye" storyline is connected to their "Back" and "The Chaser" MV Storylines. Some think that in "The Eye" L is the only member who has survived the fight you will see happening in their "Back" MV. Therefore, the story in "The Eye" is about him battling the guilt and sorrow of being the only one alive. The other members are spirits or ghosts who are trying to prevent L from succumbing to his pain of being alone and they want to keep him alive. So we see them fighting with him to stop him from giving up and "going into the light," etc. The scene with L in the car where he falls into Hoya's lap, I think could be connected to the fact that we see L tumbling over and over again in a car in their "The Chaser" MV. One thing you will probably start to notice about Infinite's MVs, is they often are open ended and most of the time they end on a cliffhanger. Infinite originally was a Woollim Entertainment group that debuted in 2010 -- 2 years after SHINee -- so this year is their 14th anniversary. They were originally a 7-member group. However, as you can see, they now have 6 members. New Emotions was a totally blah song compared to the rest of their discography. It's the typical new generation style that is really only good for performance and not much for listening. But their previous discography is god-tier. You have to hear BTD, Be Mine, Paradise, Last Romeo, Back, Bad... And their non-title tracks like Tic Toc, Shower, Hysterie, Shot, Moonlight, Time Difference.
