My favorite ap is the 15202ba with the gold dial but than with no seconds hand I miss movement on the dial. So than I think a royal oak 41mm rose gold chronograph would be my pick.
As someone that owns both the Jumbo (15202) and 38mm Chrono, I’m very surprised at your comment regarding size - I find the 38mm wears bigger (than the Jumbo) due to the Chrono pushers and thickness. In fact, it wears bigger than my DaytonaC which I believe you also have, while also being thinner. The 38MM has unexpectedly become my favorite watch and offering from AP, perfectly suiting my 6.75” wrist
Thanks for the input! In general I believe that thinner watches feels larger on the wrist than bulkier ones. I think the Jumbo and the ROC38 have give or take the same lug to lug measurement? Regarding the Daytona it is 3-4mm shorter from lug to lug than the ROC38. /Aleks
IFL Watches I guess that depends! I recently had the oppty to try the AP RD2 and thought it wore a lot better than regular RO PC due to its thickness, despite both being 41mm. This may be due to less flare due to it wearing “flatter.” And right, the ROC (both 41 and 38) are 1.2mm thinner than the Daytona. Excellent content, looking forward to more!
29.000 and he say I don't think that the price will get much over . I just want to tell u hey there the price is just double today 2023 its over 60k euro for model 23 and 55k for model 22
Ive got this piece along with other nice watches and this is still my favorite. Would love a display case back but certainly not a deal breaker. Couldn’t fit better on my 18.5cm wrist. Thanks for the vid. Nice work!
@@subutai999 I feel like a 17cm wrist could carry this watch fine. Have you tried it on? Check out my AP collection video to see it on my wrist for another perspective.
I agree, it fits really good on your wrist and would be really fine for a 17 cm. Thanks for the work by the way, we can clearly see that. Beside, the watch is even better on your footage than on picture where it fnally seems classy and not so sporty at the end.
I am not sure why would they say that it is trading equal to its retail value when in US it almost 30% over MSPR for a used one. Hope you will cover this in your next review.
I just picked up my 15451ST last week, 37mm stands perfect on my wrist, love it so much. I am thinking to get a 26315ST, don’t know if the value worth it.
Great piece and lovely with diamond bezel! Personally I would be satisfied with just the 15451 but if you need a chronograph in your life and appreciate it on the wrist why don’t go for the 26315? :) /Aleks
昆妮儿日记Queenie Diary we both love the Daytona and the 116508 is beautiful. Since one is in steel and the other one in yellow gold I don’t like to compare them to each other. But the Daytona wears nicer on the wrist imo and is better balanced. /Aleks
IFL Watches Hope AP can do display case back on 26315 and increase the power reserve, gonna be perfect and most immaculate Chronograph ever lol, won’t wait for Rolex 116500 ages from AD -_-
I have the chrono 41mm silver dial. It wear more like 43mm. but love the bracelet. I had problems with the pushers and the date. and its only 2016. its unfortunate very fragile watch and the service cost are crazy! And Its not an inhouse movement. Fredrique Piguet! The quality is still not even close compared to the Daytona
Agree about the size and the bracelet is simply amazing. Sorry to hear about the problems, unfortunately something that is the downside with AP. A lot of problems that cost a lot to fix and takes time
My experience with AP has been different from yours. I’ve had 4 Royal Oaks, and 3 of them work perfectly fine. The other had a movement replacement last year under warranty but I’ve had no issues since.
Royal Oak watches are very pretty but the date asymmetry in the chronographs is a break deal for me. AP has the same problem with other models too like 11.59, it's horrible to see that date misplacement in pieces that without the date or placed in symmetry would be the most beautiful watches. Vacheron has the same style, sad. Very difficult to beat the design and harmony of a Daytona, Speedmaster Moonwatch or any chrono model from Patek. If the Royal Oak chronographs did not have this date or placed in symmetry would be the best.
@anonymous human how would I have one? This is the only nice watch that AP make. Well, there is a previous RO but it can only be bought second hand now.
@anonymous human yes I love some Rolex too. And I really like the Santos with blue dial from a couple of years back. Luckily, a lot of the Rolex I like are not the super popular models (apart from the day date with blue dial and Roman numerals, I forget the ref) I'm patient too but... It's still annoying! Haha.
The only thing I hate is the solid case back :( I have the same watch, blue 26331ST, and I love almost everything else about it. I agree that the 38mm felt too small on my wrist (just under 7”). I’d personally prefer 40mm, and I like fairly large watches. Great content 👍🏻
The Royal Oak is a beautiful, classic design but imo the chronograph dials is in direct conflict with the clean aesthetic of the OG design. It feels tacked on and none of the visual elements make any sense. The black letters, circular engraving, the font and even the hands feel generic and doesn't mesh with its base. It could probably work if the parts felt more bespoke but this execution looks like a cheap copy without any adoration for the original design by Gérald Genta. While I hated the watch I really like the video, great job!
Stainless steel is not the new gold, its just how the companies are charging ridiculous amount of money so people now are accepting it The corporations snake markets have won and achieved their goal for making us believe this watch is that expensive and it’s not even worth half its price to make
Agreed. It’s going to be interesting to see what they do the upcoming years. Code 11:59 was something else at least even though people mainly hate it 😅

just got a call last week from AP to pick up my new 26331st blue dial... It's an amazing watch. To me, it's the most beautiful steel sport watch.
Congrats Kenneth 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Is it more sporty than the 15500 or equally as elegant.
@@DrAdd1999 the 26331 is definitely more sporty. But 15500 surely more elegant than the 26331 chronograph.

Is the loud rotor noise normal on the 26331 when you shake it?

You’re right. It probably doesn’t cost even 30% of RRP to make, but it doesn’t matter. This is the nature of luxury goods.
