Your E12 V2 has a more useful high mode. This new V3 does not sustain the 200 lumens according to the runtime graphs as it falls pretty much instantly and continues to lose brightness. For Medium, Low and build quality the V3 is better.
Fortunately, Fenix is introducing SFT diodes, because the yellow and greenish SST already discourage me from buying them. Even cold SST20s are yellowish, and SST40 and 70 are greenish. SFT does not have these problems.
This video seems like the reviewer was being paid to say these things or given this flashlight for free because there were no critical comments or subjective opinions. I doubt this thing is totally perfect, so to me that's not honest reviewing. If I just want to hear how awesome it is, I can go watch the Fenix company videos. Secondly, why does the beam look so yellow in some shots? I had read comments about this elsewhere but thought maybe they just got a one-off lemon. Can anyone else verify the tint color of the LED on this light? That's really the only thing that would keep me from buying one.
If Fenix producers read this... Maybe it's worth thinking about a double-click return to the previous mode? If you have flashlights with 5 modes, it is difficult to switch between all of them, as for example in the fenix C7. for example, if the mode is high, a double-click could go back to the previous medium mode, another double-click and it goes to low mode. I have such a system in one of the flashlights from another manufacturer - a great idea with a large number of modes.
I have an e12v2 and I like the color of the light. In e12v3 I see a yellow hot spot... And I was thinking about buying it, but after what I saw I won't buy it. I also have an E20v2 and it is also a great flashlight and the light is a little warmer than the e12v2, but it is not as yellow as in the e12v3.🤮
Fenix is better. P3 core has unbelievably mushi button, plus p3 is running on AAA and not AA like a fenix, wich means worst performance. Zoom function is really gimmicky in case of this little light. On top of that ledlenser is just splash resistant not waterproof. Edit: I own p3 core and don't use it. I always grab AA light from acebeam, olight or fenix.
This is a nice video but when you say "any other light you find on any other market" doesn't have the quality or durability or features of this light is very misinformed. Just stick to saying what is true!
I miss the copper accent tbh. If your camera has that color recorded accurately and the beam has a hotspot like shown at 2:24, then no thanks. The V2 lets you easily read labels and manuals/books etc if you hold it back slightly and high is bright enough to see far enough to take out the trash or keep tabs on my sister's dogs are over and they go out at night. While the magnet is nice, this seems like a few steps backwards. And I wish companies would let me choose between always starting with low and remembering last setting used. Btw you move the light with every syllable and it's super distracting.
Almost had me sold until I saw the evil Fenix green tint! So terrible looking. Come on Fenix! This green tint on Fenix lights is killing their bottom line! I so want to love this light but I just can’t. Smh 🤦🏼♂️ A strobe mode would be excellent for emergencies if need to get found.

Why don’t they engineer for 14500 and AA. Seems like a miss here.

Typical fenix. Excellent build quality. Efficient circuit. Terrible tint and no true low mode. I’m done with them.
