Parasite Mystery

August 2018, just returned from a trip to the Mediterranean. Discovered a lump under the skin of the left forearm. Too deep and too firm for a typical lipoma. Ultrasound shows a parasitic worm inside the lump. It was immediately connected to my trip abroad. However, surgery found nothing. Pathology tests were negative. Eye exam found nothing. Can anyone explain the ultrasound???
