Have they fixed the acrylic ruler? I know the sizes were off and you can see in the video the giy is confused because first move he moves to edge or ruler then second move stops at the yellow
"Crossing the T"...you guys it's actually called "raking fire". Crossing the T was just a tactic to use your broadsides and preventing the opponent from using his. But it's still cool that this is in the game.
One question: Why is the turning tool set to the rear of a ship instead of the font? For ships it kind of makes more sense if the stern is swinging out, not the bow.
from experience, its clumsy and awkward when approaching other ships to have to try place a dial that clashed with them all, theres less of that behind the ship
The rudder is always on the back. Playing other naval games I got to have the models on my hand to say if it feels awkward. Star Wars Armada has an awkward movement system, but it’s absolutely brilliant.
@@erupendragon7376 My point exactly. The ruder is on the back. So it always moves sideways whilst the bow drags behind so to speak. It's almost inverse to how a car behaves. That's why "parking" a boat is done opposite to a car. First you move in the bow and then pull in the aft.
Hallo. I ask one question to anyone can answer me: the rules tells you must have at least one ship for every 50 points. Do you consider slooping squadrons as ships? May I have one XL main battle ship and 2 Slooping squadrons in 150 points fleet, or not?
Yes, that is how it works. Squadrons are considered a single ship for this purpose since they are on the same base. So your one XL ship is a main battle ship that could take two sloop squadrons. This would also satisfy the need for one ship for every 50 points.
Useful video but a bit annoying. The one guy was soo much louder and the other guy kinda mumbles. So I'd turn up to listen and then have to turn down. Up, down, up, down on that volume grew quite annoying. Otherwise a quite useful video.
ok... now redo the first 20 seconds. 00.03: matt moves off screen, does not watch the camera and touches papers 00.15: introduce yourself first Of just select people who're used to be in front of the camera...
That would be me, I had never heard of armada, just discovered Mantic games with a Deadzone review a few days ago.
This game looks really cool!
Looks interesting, would be good if you moved using templates like in xwing.
Thanks guys this really looks like a very fun game. :>)
excited to get this ships!
How many pages is the rulebook?

@@scelonferdi yes. 100% correct. I was thinking the same thing and half way through: logic fail. Turning tool should be in the front.

Will the ogre ships all be the largest ones?
I'd like to see a painting tutorial
So would I
Dreadfleet?
Beautiful models, shallow (non-existent) crew rules. :/
