    Some places in Africa they eat sweet potato leaves and cook them like collards especially in Liberia the lady of Queens com retired from Charlotte NC return to her homeland and is doing great on her land!!

    Hey Rick & SJM, I noticed after you harvested the three pineapples, you also uprooted the entire plant as well. You don't need to do that. Just harvest pineapples, get the new crown from each one that you haven't to replant and leave the old plant with it sucker's to make new pineapples
    In fact you will never have to plant new pines again except for the new crown. This crop will spread as sugarcane. From time to time you may pluck off a few plants if they are spreading too much. Also...if you leave them, you will get multiple pines in a stool from each sucker.

    I have been growing them in the caribbean as a child and never replant except tossing the new crown back on the patch and allow it to do it's thing. I currently watch your channel from Texas now. I you wish, you may take my free advice. I have grown many if not all of the crops that you are planting, in the caribbean. I still plant some vegetables in Texas here currently.
    You are making strides....keep pressing on.
