I was diagnosed with cirrhosis based on Fibroscan requested by my gastroenterologist and on december 2021 my score was 15.7kpa, so stage 4 (cirrhosis) which was caused by fatty liver disease, I started the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting , 1 year, 75 fewer pounds later, yesterday I went for another fibroscan, my score went from 15.7kpa to 4.5kpa, stage 1(mild/no fibrosis) so...YES Cirrhosis IS reversible

Can you share the primary foods that you ate? How many hours of intermittent fasting did you do daily?

@@MrGuitarfreak316 I started by changing the diet completely, big salad with greens only, olive oil, eggs, and a meat of choice, beef, chicken a little humus to make the salad taste better, and ate that twice a day in the beginning, only when I became fat burning adapted I introduced intermittent fasting, started skipping breakfast, then reducing the eating hours to between 12 and 6pm, then 12 to 4pm until eventually I only ate one time a day

I am currently in the process of dealing with my wife's liver cirrhosis diagnosis. Test results one month apart have shown elevated levels of markers which indicate worsening prognosis but I am hopeful moving from whey protein supplementation to a plant based diet along with the introduction of BCAA's will bring the results within range.

its really crazy. theres basically no treatments for cirrhosis. My mom had it all they ever did for her was water pills and blood pressure pills. Those medicines have been around for decades. Theres no new treatment for cirrhosis at all.

kind of, but it is also amazing how our food industry supplies us with so much crap in our foods every day that NAFLD is an issue to begin with. NAFLD was nearly unheard of until high fructose corn syrup and other unnatural foods came along. The real medicine for this is healthy eating. No copay, affordable, easy to do.

Cut Sodas,Sweeteners and even DIET SUGARS in Coke Zero..I been a Diet Pepsi and Coke Zero that i developed a bad habit of drinking 3 cans a Day with Ice....And had eaten bread,Rice, and heavy portions which has kept me overweight or Obese..
Now i have cut back on carbs/sugars/starches and got rid of the Diet Soda which i wholeheartedly deep down believe was causing more problem than anything.

I completely agree. I've been keto for 6 months. ALL my metabolic syndrome markers are back to low normal range. Keto reverses fatty liver. 'KenDBerryMD' on YT..he's a life saver with no products to sell and no conflicts of interest. Please read his comments sections.
