Absolutely beautiful how I wish I could go to a place like that during the Christmas season. Thank you for sharing. Such a lovely lovely place😊
You are so welcome.
Thank you for this beautiful video. My father (born 1920) grew up on a farm in Georgia. He said he and his siblings used to decorate the Christmas tree with pinecones, and dried fruit and dried flowers. I love the decorations in this video. Especially the reindeer decorating the trees. Stunning.
Glad you enjoyed it! His Christmas trees sound absolutely charming!
@@Thecapeonthecorner Yes, I bet their Christmas tree was very special. I’m sorry there are no pictures of my father, his siblings and my grandparents from Christmases back then. It’s good today that young people have computers and cellphones. Future generations will have a record of just about everything from these current times onward.
Love the video ❤ magical 🌟🌟🌟🌟 could you focus in on the beautiful things just a bit longer ❤ to see all the details. Thank you for bringing all that magic to me in England.

My husband and I have been to Ginny Curry’s Shop and Home many times. She has the most beautiful primitives we have ever seen! Ginny is such a sweet and gracious host for her shop as well as inviting all into her home for a tour. I have gotten many ideas for decorating my own home from Ginny. Her shop is worth the trip from where ever you may live. Thanks for the video of her shop and getting the word out to our primitive friends. Merry Christmas.

A little piece at a time. A corner of a room, a mantel. This style is really all about being a collection of pieces that speak to us. One whisper at a time!

And just 5 minutes away from the lovely Miller House Antiques shop also! It's definitely worth a road trip. Be sure to call ahead as they are open by appointment except for special occasions.

I loved this video...I am going to show it to my Mother tomorrow. This store is gorgeous! The tree's are so fascinating you could do an entire video just talking about the decorations on those amazing tree's...that would be fun too.
Ohhh that would be fun! More prim videos coming, keep watching!

Absolutely stunning!!! Happy holidays🎄
Isn't it though??!!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄, keep watching, more prim videos coming!!
What music disc do you play in this video very relaxing. Need to buy it for Christmas get together.. Just breathtaking, road trip soon. My house was built in 1820. Love the old Prim look.
Great question, I don't know. I'd be interested in owning it too!
No white walls or cabinets. Yeah!!!
Every prim home and shop has their own unique look. That's what makes each one so personal to the owner. That's one reason why I love this style!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Lol we have nothing like this where I live however, since I would have to buy a passport and drive all the way from Atlantic Canada. Lol looks great though
Very well worth a roadtrip!!!!
Would you please check to see if she ships… I’m interested in the fabric nativity.
Hi Cindy, she does, in fact, ship. The shop is Curry's Antiques. You can find her shop also on fb.
Where do the dealers get their antiques from?
Lots of hard work. Attics, basements, hunts in old barns, auctions, and after years of developing a business and good relationships and reputation - word of mouth sometimes brings pieces to you.
don't like how the camera is so far from everything, we need to see details
Need to visit in person, the camera just doesn't do it justice!
@@Thecapeonthecorner i understand🥰
I don’t mean to be critical I love your videos , however you did no close ups of the trees or the merchandise just the antiques you liked. I didn’t feel it did the shop justice. I have no idea what any of the Christmas ornaments looked like. It was really dizzy. Please next time feature more of the variety of products thanks
I do try hard to be mindful of people's art in order to keep it from being copied and mass marketed. The hope is that people like the vision/vibe of a shop and then they either go to visit, or even contact to purchase. But I'm always purposefully cautious about being too up close on handmade goods.
@@Thecapeonthecorner oh ok I understand, I just live in another country and will probably not get there so I thought it would be nice to see closer how they decorate the trees in that era or your country. Thank you for the reply. I mean no offence. Love to see the variety of antiques and learning what things are and what they are used for. Thank you
