The us is just all about greed
Because this is pre made for 4 schools in Tokyo at this factory, and shipped across town, the actual schools don't prepare the food on site like in the US, a completely different system. The dense population makes this possible
@@shable1436Are you sure? I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, this video said 3000 students. My High school alone had 1500 students. Unless their schools are all a lot smaller then a rural Midwest town's school's. I can't imagine that this serves more than a couple schools max.
@@TheLostBear78 Not putting this video down because it IS amazing but their dense population makes this kind of handling an almost necessity. A simple cold could outbreak into hundreds of students and end up as 1000's of people becoming infected in turn. In the USA our lack of density ends up in our food handling being subpar. Nevermind trying to imagine the insane costs involved in the transportation and connection of so many organic producers.

It's not about being alpha, it's about thinking you're superior because of your religion and killing everyone who doesn't act like some stupid book says, instead of having empathy and acting based on morals
@Ching Vang I feel like that since japan is a homogenous country, they're more likely to have more care for it as it's mostly their own people that live there, while in america, the country is diverse with so many races dwelling in it, but since america's government is dominated by people of european decent, they will have less care for the country, especially since supposedly the white population is dwindling and non white races are becoming more prominate.
they will do anything to keep the white population as the dominant one (even though it should be the natives) by messing up all the food, and mostly putting those unhealthy foods that have all the toxins in lower class neighborhoods which also happen to be dominated by racial minorities, if they can supply crack and drugs into those neighborhoods, what makes you think they won't supply unhealthy foods to those neighborhoods?

It's sad too. Frozen ingredients aren't too bad but the way our corporations prepare them is just detestable.
If the parents can they should at least try to make their children's lunch, as we know the schools won't do it.
yea i think one issue the usa has compared to japan, is the way infrastructure is setup in general.
i am personally from the netherlands. but when i look at the usa i tend to see 3 big factors, the concept of a stroad(neither a street or road but a mix of both), and just how much there is of it.
and the lack of being able to intermingle certain infrastructure. as they love to divide suburbia, from anything commercially/public usage and heavier industry.
japan density in some spots has made them very efficient whit how thing are setup, from a planning perspective but also being several times more flexible to usa rules.
so yea one location can easily service a fairly large area.
here in the netherlands some of the larger schools just have this aspect build in to a far lesser degree.
though while some do locally source ingredients, i don't think we even match some of these Japanese cooking stations.
since jus the scale makes it so much easier to become reliable market share locally.

I just want to move to a place where everyone takes cleanliness…especially around food and children, as seriously as this. I’m in heaven. The healthy nutrition, based on locally sourced produce is just wonderful. What a place. Keeping this one in my back pocket for later! Love and respect to this school’s admin and bravo to the wonderful workers. This is making me emotional!
To be fair. If they are feeding a whole school every day. they need to be clean, any spreading of virus to the food? thats going to spread like wildfire in a school. unlike a kitchen for resturants who feed maybe a hundred maybe 2 a day. Especially since children tend to be very close and touchy
noodles, fried chicken, high sodium soup, and rice isn't healthy nutrition
As someone who loves to cook, this video was amazing, the care you put into cooking and how you taste it before serving is so sweet. I also love how you take many measures to make sure the food and your staff are clean. Your work and goal is truly inspiring.
Thank you for your kind comment!
@@Japanesefoodcraftsman thank you for helping build and take care of the future generation. Nutritious meals alone can make a major difference in a child’s development, the fact that you acknowledge that warms my heart.
Thanks for the instructions I will go do this now
Other Countries school POV: Japanese students are Lucky 😂😂
I've cooked in restaurants all my life and let me tell you this process is the best I've ever seen. You guys are doing everything by the book for the video without a doubt, but that's some awesome equipment
Even with the video, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such good cleaning and health practices. I doubt they changed much for the video.
Japan takes pride in their work, sadly elsewhere you have people who don't always take pride in what they do, which results in shitty food and health and safety violations.
ご飯の炊き方が特殊で驚きました。しかも野菜をこまめに洗ったり何度も消毒してたり、小学校の時に安心してたべれていたのはこうやって清潔面や効率よく作ってくださってる方々のお陰ですね。
I couldnt have imagined a more pristinely clean way of making food. EVERYTHING was spotless!
I would be so happy, and it would give me peace of mind to know that my child eats lunches made in that kitchen. You guys do loving work.
