I believe most people overthink their videos because they feel they have to be “on screen” (myself included). Sometimes, audio on top of b-roll tells a better story

I started this faceless channel for many reasons, one was due to facial injuries and lots of recurring allergic reactions which frighteningly altered the appearance of the skin on my face.
I'm gradually recovering and no longer in the environment that was causing those things. Looking forward to being on camera again on my main channel, but REALLY enjoying the freedom of working on this channel where my appearance has ZERO impact on my work! I will never give this gig up, and wish I would have started a faceless channel sooner!

I love the brevity and simplicity of this video. He did not talk at me as if he was lecturing. The cadence was simple and explanatory. Even the way this was shot for some reason just really worked. Although I am aware of this style of video recording, I have never used Camtasia. Now I am considering playing with the software. One of my fave videos.... Good job guys!

I just started this channel for 2022 doing exclusively top down food unboxing of plantbased food. I was torn wether to show my face or go for a fixed top down shot. Tbh I'm glad I decided to go top down, there is a simplicity there that allows the focus to be on the product not my face. Good luck to all new content creators starting in 2022. You can do it!

Thanks for the presentation. All my RUclips videos, so far, are faceless. Sometimes I use voiceover and video images. My RUclips Channel provides mostly Christian faith-based content to inspire, motivate, encourage, and sometimes educate.

Been following Think media's advice to grow my channel and the tips are fantastic. I'd really love to know how do you deal with people in your IRL circle that shoot you down and tell you that pursuing the YT journey is a waste of time? I knew I would get hate from the online world, but never expected it from my "friends" and it's surprisingly demotivating when it happens
I actually make videos without voiceover too. I just use subtitles and they work just fine. 👌🏻 I do use just my camera’s own mic to record some sounds though.

When you guys make videos, do you keep ALL of your footage and store it somewhere? Even the stuff that you cut out? Or do you delete it all after you're done making the video.

Great video! I'd love to have a follow up video that takes a deeper dive into how long (approx) each BRoll segment should be (4 secs? 8 secs?). Guide lines for selecting BRoll. When to add text - like bullet points. This kind of more of more technical stuff. I understand the concept of faceless videos, but would value now getting more hands on with it.

Camtasia sucks so bad. I've been using it for about a week now to do my RUclips videos and the audio quality is horrible. It kept selecting 441k and when I would import into premiere it would have the very slow and low effect. Even though I will go into my sound card and change it to 44.8 it would always go back.
I also had a really bad hiss. I was convinced it was the road wireless go ii or just my system.
Last night I decided to try obs. Audio is perfect no hiss and the sample rate stays at 44.8
What editing app do you recommend for beginners?

How did you turn yourself into a circle on the screen around 3 min in?
Hey bro, so I tried monetizing one of my channels when I was able to get all the requirements but the monetization was not approved due to some policies RUclips claim am violeted. So since then I have deleted most of my videos and have made the necessary adjustments to my new videos But I noticed my new videos dont get views at all, I used to have to at least 5k views per video, now I get just 200 to 300 views per video, no matter what I do it doesn't pass 200 or 300 views. It is possible that RUclips might have blacklisted my channel from getting views? Because now I cant get back to the 4k watch time requirement after deleting many of my videos and am not getting enough views to get there anymore. Is it possible that my channel has been blacklisted or something?

You know, if youtube does not recommend your content, you can do anything, you will not get any views. For example, I uploaded a short video about play sounds to your dog, no views the first 2 days. Then, suddenly it raised 9000 views in one hour. And after that, youtube not recommended anymore, so since then no more views again.
Great vid but I truly don’t understand the need to put looped audio underneath a narrated instructional video? Very distracting…especially viewing with headphones on🤷♂️
