NEW FILM! My Current Skincare Routine (Updated). These are the products, key ingredients and techniques that are currently working for me. #skincare #beauty #makeup
So informative as always! And yes, please do a video about facial massage. I really want to incorporate it in my nighttime routine but not sure how to do a proper massage that's firm and gentle.
I just wanted to let you know that I follow your advice religiously and although I can't undo all of the damage that has been done by my personal neglect, my skin is a thousand times better than it was and it really is to your credit. Thank you so much for sharing so selflessly, all that you know. It has made all the difference to this middle-aged American woman.
I always find it very refreshing and in some way comforting when a huge make up artist shows half used tubes and tubs in a skincare talk. Definitely gives me faith in what is being said! Thank you for putting this vid up Lisa. Just off to raid the Paula's Choice website!
Hi Lisa, please could you do one of these updated skincare routines every 6 months? I love hearing what you are using as you are so knowledgeable about the ingredients so I really trust your thoughts on the products that are on the market. I'm sure you have saved me a fortune over the years! xxx
Pls do the vid tutorial on massage! I've heard that it really helps keep the skin youthful looking in the long run but im worried that if I do it wrongly and tug at my skin too much it will be counterproductive :|
I would be very interested in learning more about facial massage, an in depth video would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing your knowledge about skin care with us.
I really love watching Lisa and I so appreciate that she does not scream and talk super loud, I will legit turn off anyone who talks way too loud...Lisa's voice is so soothing
AmateurBeautyAddict My teenage daughter uses Paula's Choice "Clear" line: Cleanser and Regular Strength Exfoliatiant. For blemishes, she alternates between the Resist 4% BHA (for large areas of breakouts) and the Resist BHA 9 (spot treatment only). It has really helped her skin clear up. She used to have bad forehead acne, with a few spots on her cheeks, but now her skin is pretty clear. I also use Paula's Choice, and I alternate between the Skin Balancing (Cleanser and Toner) and the Resist lines. The 4% BHA is my choice for exfoliating. For anti-aging, I use the Resist Retinol Serum and the Resist C15, and the Resist Dark Spot Eraser w/2% BHA (which I only use part of the year). For sunscreen, the Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 is the best mineral-based sunblock that I have found for my very oily skin. Because of the zinc-oxide, I actually find it to be very oil-controlling, and it's tinted, so it doesn't make your face look white.
I use cleansing oil/massage everynight. I find it much faster then make up removers and cleansing pads, as it just melts the make up away. then follow up with a cleansing gel.
Dear Lisa, please kindly make update on this video. I know that you are tending to use more organic brands. Your approach makes me trust you more than many cosmetologists that I visited. Thank you for what you are doing. Best wishes to you and your family!
Lisa, you are a goddess! I'm in the middle of editing my dissertation and your videos and website are the best distraction, even though my degree is in History of Art it is because of fantastic artists like you that I have decided that I want to be a makeup artist and will be assisting on a shoot for the first time next week, thank you so much for sharing your incredible knowledge!
Another voice saying I'd love a massage video. Before I watched your last video I thought I had oily, sensitive skin and used harsh acne products which only dried my skin out and made the oil unable to escape causing more spots! Now I follow your philosophy (plus use a clarisonic a few times a week) and my skins never been better. I now realise that my problem was that my skin doesn't exfoliate or renew itself well (which is why I'll have a mark weeks after the spot has gone). Thank you so much, bad skin really affected my confidence but now I'll go without makeup fairly regularly and be completely comfortable x
3 years in and I keep coming back to this and your face massage videos!! So good!! I know you are super busy but we would love an update on your skincare, your skin is just flawless 😍 been following you since forever xxxx
Paula's Choice a must have!!!! Lisa I can listen to you everyday! You are so full of knowledge! You are why I'm so passionate about Makeup and Skin care!
I use organic avocado oil under my eyes for quite a couple of months now and I think the same. It strengthens the skin, it is very hydrating and therefore reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
Hello Lisa, love your skincare videos! I feel like the industry has evolved a lot the last couple of years with serums and acids becoming more mainstream than ever before. I would love more skincare related videos on how to choose the right serum and what ingredients to look for, when/how to use AHA, BHA, PHA etc, and maybe an updated skincare routine? It's great information even if you still use the same products.
Please do a video on facial massage! That would be really great cause I am always confused at the conflicting information on the internet such as which direction to gently prod your eyes and what not. Thanks for all these tips here and I've checked out your other cleanser video cause I need a new one myself.
My dear Lisa, I just realised all of my makeup and skin care are the ones you suggested in your videos. 😀 I'm watching your videos from the very beginning and I'm excited every time you upload a new one. You're the best! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I adore Lisa so much, you are absolutely my top favorite on YT!! I want to see more makeup tutorials with Asian models :) Your video with hanako was so helpful to me.
Your link for Paula's Choice is only for EU customers, Paula's Choice does not offer that product to US customers (once you choose the US as your origin country, the product disappears from her offerings), so I had to dig around and find it elsewhere -- thehut.com sells it (and ships) to US customers so you might want to add that link as well.
+lisa eldridge i hope you can read this, I just find it quite bothersome when I apply foundation/concealear over acneic areas of my face which have patches of dryness around them as well. My skin type is combination to oily, and I moisturize well nevertheless. However, once I put on stuff on my zits, the flakiness there is highlighted even more. I actually copied a piece of your skin routine (Dermalogica exfoliant, overnight acne gel, Murad clarifying mask, Bioderma hydrabio, Caudalie radiance serum, etc.) in the hopes of addressing the acne and unusual dehydration on some areas. My acne is very temperamental but it calms periodically-- but the dryness is hard to get rid of. I was hoping if you can at least recommend a product that's gonna serve as a moisturizing barrier from foundation and concealer so those areas don't look drier and gross. I really need your advice on this. Thank you for the time.
+lisa eldridge I HOPE YOU SEE THIS-- if you take a trip to germany, you should pick up the Martina Gebhardt Eye Care Cream!! It has avocado oil as the third ingredient (whereas its the 8th ingredient in the Kiehl's), and it is absolutely gorgeous. it is also really affordable! Thanks for the video!
Be aware that botanical hydrating eye cream has the ingredient denatured alcohol which in the long run it can be very drying and it can do damage that won't allow your skin to replenish and rejuvenate. Also, the avocado cream is not an aging cream just a moisturizer.
I"m glad to hear someone like you (a professional in the beauty industry who knows a lot about this kind of thing) say that your skin is a 'lazy exfoliator". My skin is this way and I absolutely must use gentle exfoliation every single day to keep it looking ok, but everyone on youtube seems to say that this is bad. I think everyone has different skin and some need more exfoliation than others, if I don't exfoliate lightly every day my skin can't do it on its own.
I tried the Gentle Cream Exfoliant a little over a year ago based on your recommendation and loved it. I've really noticed a change in my skin. I figured since you always provide such great advice and recommendations, I'd share a great mask that I recently found. I used the Karuna Exfoliating Sheet Mask the other night and was really pleased. It provided really gentle exfoliating, but the leftover serum gets massaged into your skin after you take the sheet part off. It creates a kind of film and after leaving it on overnight, I was thrilled with how smooth and bright my skin was the next morning. If you're looking to try something new out, I'd highly recommend! And as always, thanks so much for such fun and informative videos!
i could listen to you for days- what a soothing voice. i am voting yes for the facial massage. and i wish i could get my makeup to look as natural as yours!
Thanks Lisa for this updated skincare routine!!! Pleeeease show us how you do the 20 minute massage in another tutorial when you get the chance. Your videos have been seriously life changing for my skin and how I do makeup!
I used the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant on your recommendation from the previous video and it is a revelation for my lazy but sensitive skin. Really good for removing dead skin cells without all the harsh scrubbing. If anything, I feel that it removes the gunk more effectively than a scrub. My skin always feel so smooth and clear the next day. Also, I believe the formula has changed slightly, but it still works. I am now contemplating buying their salon sized ones because it is just that good hahahaha... Thank you, Lisa, for sharing!
Interesting you say that, I felt as though the formula had changed slightly recently too but they assure me it hasnt. The ingredients are still the same but I feel like percentages may have changed a bit .. maybe I'm wrong : /
I changed my skincare routine about 2 years ago now, because of you. I'm 30 now and stopped using anything calling itself an acne wash. I use simple, gentle cleansers like Philosophy Purity Made Simple or Ole Henriksen On the Go cleanser. I keep make removal simple using either natural oils like Coconut oil or a cream remover like Ponds cold cream...always cleansing twice! Because of these small, basic changes my skin isn't prone to dry patches anymore. It doesn't get as red and irritated. I do still get the occasional spot, but I just use 100% tea tree oil directly on the spot and within 2-3 days it completely disappears.
I just wanted to thank you for all your videos where you recommend products + your favourite products listed on your blog. There is an overwhelming amount of products out there.. It's reassuring to receive suggestions from someone who has tested some of those products and can vouch for them. I certainly feel nervous going into shops and trying products mainly because I feel the pressure to buy a product rather than take my time to ask questions and think about it, particularly with expensive brands. So thank you!!
Yes, please! Do a video about the type of facial massage you do. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing it at least a few nights a week; I'm trying with the tanaka one, but I know there are many other types. Would love to know your version of it!
I have watched your skincare favourite videos for so many times! finally a updated one, love your recommendation, you always break down the ingredients and tell us the reason why the product is good, so much better than all the other youtube suggestions!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Please film that massage tutorial for us. And you look lovely and radiant by the way Much love from Venezuela. Xoxo
You should try to use La Roche Posay CC cream. It has SPF30 and is absolutely perfect! I use it all the time now as it's not too greasy, doesn't dry my skin and still has a great coverage.
Is there any way for you to do a blog post with what a weekly skincare routine might look like for you? I'm trying to get a sense of how you use all these products together, especially since I went back and watched your previous skincare/sunscreen videos.
I make my own version of the Kiehl's eye cream using a neutral base cream (GlaxalBase), organic avocado oil, and Licorice extract tincture. Works really well and is so much better value for money.
A facial massage video would be great! I love Paula's Choice products, particularly the 2% BHA liquid which has really turned my skin around. No more acne (except for the odd hormonal spot).
Yes, please, please, Lisa! Do a video on facial massage!! It'd be so informative like all your videos. And I'll know if I'm currently doing it wrong or not. Thank you for being on YT and sharing your magic here. xx
Would LOVE a video on the cleansing balm massage. I've started doing it with the Clinique cleansing balm but would like tips on how to do it properly without damaging the skin. Love you Lisa, and thanks for your videos! xxx
You look wonderful. I think the fact that you do live in the UK helps you to look so good. I live in Texas and most ladies look a bit drier and spotted due to the strong sun shining on us most of the year. Thank you for all the suggestions.
A massage video would be great. I'd love to learn more about what you do. I've recently started dry body brushing in the hope it will help my skin look more healthy. Thanks again for sharing all your knowledge xx
The only to products i use as skincare are extra virgin olive oil and Melvita's rosehip oil. My skin has never been this clear. I have oily, acne prone skin.
Can you let me know how you use the olive oil and rosehip oil? As cleansers or moisturisers? Ive had really oily skin since teenage years, would love to have balanced skin now as I get quite embarassed by it :(
I use olive oil either by itself as a moisturizer or applying a moisturizer on top afterwards. I also only use organic cold pressed olive oil and rosehip oil (this is important b/c their composition isn't altered). As for the rosehip, I will use less olive oil and add a drop of rosehip to it a couple days a week. Keep in mind I have dry skin so you would need to adjust this to fit you. Generally speaking I would recommend you use a thin layer of olive oil every time you wash your face to let it sink in, it really will sink in and won't look oily if you apply the right amount. if it looks very oily on you, pat excess off with paper towel or eyepads. Also if you think it isnt helping start off with just using it as a pre-cleanser and then washing it off with an actual cleanser. This way you at least get a mask-like benefit that could help minimize your oil production. Hope this helps! I think the most important thing is to just incorporate it into your skincare in a way that suits you best! #essaydone
lemonboxes Ah great thanks for your advice!! I'm intrigued as to where you get the organic cold pressed olive oil though... from a health food shop?? I will definitely try this out... :)
Thanks Lisa, u have been a great help. I've changed my makeup and skin are routine after following u for quite sometime. I'm in my mid 20's n I only get spots during the time of the month. Received many compliments as I learn hoe to use makeup to 'enhance' my features instead of 'transforming' myself.. Lol! For those who wants a cheaper alternative for cleansing balm, u can try the Clinique one. My face cleared up all thanks to that. Makeup removal = important to clear skin!
I just want to second (or third or twenty-seventh) the request for a facial massage video! Sounds not only good for circulation but for stress; maybe usefull for all the students going into finals soon?
Lierac makes a fantastic "emergency" hydration gel that is light and effective as well. For the annoying areas that are a bit oily sometimes and can break out I'm also a big fan of the exfoliant pads. I like the first aid beauty ones.
No one could say your skin is spotty for it looks amazing and it's always so flawless in all the videos. I wish one day my complicated (and also spotty) skin looks a bit similar to yours
Yes, please do a face massage video. Thanks for these skincare videos. They have definitely help me. Now I look at ingredients in product and see what would be best for my skin type.
Dear lisa we really miss your update skincare videos ....I will turn 30 by this coming December and I need your help what kind of products I should start to use,my skin is dry and I really need your advice how to keep my skin look healthy and young ...thank you in advance
i love st ives scrub it leaves my skin very smooth i love bioderma for removing makeup i love origin checks and balances face wash clinique dramatically moisturizing gel and clinique pore refining serum !
I spend a lot of time in hospital. It’s so hard on my skin - no fresh air, heating on full blast etc. I need some skincare products (in tubes, not bottles for obvious reasons) for my face, hands, hair and feet. I’d also like some ideas for some ideas for minimal makeup so I can look as though I’ve made an effort for my incredible husband. Thank you.
Lisa, your videos are so informative and good. Sometimes though, the white background whites everything out and you can't really see the textures so well. This sucks when it's a make up video and you really want to see everything everything in detail. If there is something you can do about that, that'd be amazing. Otherwise, you're perfect and I absolutely LOVE LOVE your videos. Thank you!
I would love if you could make another update to this video. Have you found any new products you love? I also would love to know your thoughts on the Sunday Riley oils and any Drunk Elephant products! Thank you for your in depth explanations and informative videos as usual.
i've had problems with my skin for years, it got a bit better after puberty and going to a dermatologist, but because i tend to have oily/combination skin but also sensitive skin, i'm having a really hard time to find the right products, i get breakouts from a lot of products, even by the whole range of certain brands.. i would love to see a massage video! :)
Would love to see a video on your weekly massages. Am very interested in whatever I can do for myself since I can't really go anywhere locally to get something done or get good tips.
NEW FILM! My Current Skincare Routine (Updated).
These are the products, key ingredients and techniques that are currently working for me. #skincare #beauty #makeup
are you a pisces?
Your skin looks great & I really enjoyed watching this informative video. I look forward to watching your future facial massage video!
I have a quick silly question, do you maintain this routine when you are on the road or you have something different?
So informative as always! And yes, please do a video about facial massage. I really want to incorporate it in my nighttime routine but not sure how to do a proper massage that's firm and gentle.
***** I did make a 'How to remove make-up properly video' a while ago ... have a look at that X
Try the Emma Hardie Moringa cleasing balm... hydrates, removes makeup eep down and leaves my skin glowing a soft as a cloud... OMG i love it!
I always find it very refreshing and in some way comforting when a huge make up artist shows half used tubes and tubs in a skincare talk. Definitely gives me faith in what is being said! Thank you for putting this vid up Lisa. Just off to raid the Paula's Choice website!
Yes, please make a video demonstrating facial massage. I try to do this when washing my face, but i don't know if I'm doing it correctly.
It's incredible that you get more beautiful every year that passes!
Hi Lisa, please could you do one of these updated skincare routines every 6 months? I love hearing what you are using as you are so knowledgeable about the ingredients so I really trust your thoughts on the products that are on the market. I'm sure you have saved me a fortune over the years! xxx

I really love watching Lisa and I so appreciate that she does not scream and talk super loud, I will legit turn off anyone who talks way too loud...Lisa's voice is so soothing
You look younger and younger every time I am watching you, so obviously, yes, your products work really well!
Paulas Choice has helped me clear up my skin more than any other line i have tried. Glad to see Lisa gets results too!
What products do you use from the line? I am having horrible break outs at the moment
AmateurBeautyAddict My teenage daughter uses Paula's Choice "Clear" line: Cleanser and Regular Strength Exfoliatiant. Hi Lisa, this video is wonderful. Wondering if you’d be interested in creating an updated video on your skincare routine for 2020?
Lisa, you are a goddess! I just realised all of my makeup and skin care are the ones you suggested in your videos. 😀
I'm watching your videos from the very beginning and I'm excited every time you upload a new one.
You're the best! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I adore Lisa so much, you are absolutely my top favorite on YT!!
I want to see more makeup tutorials with Asian models :)

REN makes a fabulous balm cleanser. Smells lovely, and comes with the slightly rough cloth for micro exfoliation. It lasts forever. Worth every cent.
PLEASE do an updated skincare routine 😍
Yes pleaSe do a video on your massage routine!! Would love it!
Christy Tomlinson .
Your skin is definitely looking more plump (in a good way) and glowy, absolutely gorgeous Lisa
Thank you darling. I am wearing full make-up too, which helps ; ) X
Thanks for thinking of me, I'll check it out X
Yes, video on skin massage! Love ya, You have great ideas and are easy to understand your techniques.
Vicki
i could listen to you for days- what a soothing voice. i am voting yes for the facial massage. and i wish i could get my makeup to look as natural as yours!
Please do how to do facial massage! I have no idea!
Thanks Lisa for this updated skincare routine!!! Pleeeease show us how you do the 20 minute massage in another tutorial when you get the chance. Your videos have been seriously life changing for my skin and how I do makeup!
I have bought half the products you have recommended its been two weeks and i can already see a change. Thank you!
I used the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant on your recommendation from the previous video and it is a revelation for my lazy but sensitive skin. Thanks so much for the update, Lisa. Would LOVE to see the facial massage video. Happy Spring!! :-)
I LOVE listening to you talk - your voice is so relaxing.

Xoxo
I, Sleepless, need Lisa's voice to calm me down :-)
out of all the youtube beauty vloggers, I find her voice to be the nicest and calm :X I was just thinking about this :))
And me too ))
I watch her videos most evenings.
Oh and thank you for including the cheaper alternatives in your description, as a student with a limited budget for skincare it really helps me!
You should try to use La Roche Posay CC cream. It has SPF30 and is absolutely perfect! I use it all the time now as it's not too greasy, doesn't dry my skin and still has a great coverage.
Definitely want to see the massage tutorial. Love everything you do!! Thanks for sharing your expertise!!
Can you update it again? A 2020 version please :)
Paula's Choice is such a wonderful line! Happy to hear it get recommended!
A video on your facial massaging routine will be greatly helpful!! Thanks so much for sharing!
Lisa we need an update on your skin care routine and products you recommend. Thank you
Such a lovely natural make up! Please do a tutorial of this look too..
Is there any way for you to do a blog post with what a weekly skincare routine might look like for you? I'm trying to get a sense of how you use all these products together, especially since I went back and watched your previous skincare/sunscreen videos.
I use the Eve Lom cleanser as well and the massage video will really help me! thanks!
I make my own version of the Kiehl's eye cream using a neutral base cream (GlaxalBase), organic avocado oil, and Licorice extract tincture. Works really well and is so much better value for money.
aaahhh THE MUCH AWATED VIDEO!!!!mmm soo glad u finally did it...lisa also please do a updated bases video please..
A facial massage video would be great! I love Paula's Choice products, particularly the 2% BHA liquid which has really turned my skin around. No more acne (except for the odd hormonal spot).
Alternative for the Zelens pads: First Aid Beauty exfoliating pads - contain AHA's. Can be found at Sephora among other websites.
New update please!!
Hi Lisa,
Do you have any recommendations on a skincare routing that will help acne scaring?
Thank you
Karla
a facial massage video would be BRILLIANT xx it's hard to find really good information on it!
I used to have oily skin. Now its balanced normal skin.
I have dry skin and acne prone and I use the exact same thing! Except a different rosehip brand. I go through a bottle of olive oil every 6 months lol
Can you let me know how you use the olive oil and rosehip oil? As cleansers or moisturisers? Ive had really oily skin since teenage years, would love to have balanced skin now as I get quite embarassed by it
:(
I use olive oil either by itself as a moisturizer or applying a moisturizer on top afterwards.
Makeup removal = important to clear skin!
can't stress this enough!! realised this after i bought a cleansing balm.
Happy! Happy! Happy! Happiness is coming home to a Lisa Eldridge video!
I love all your videos, Lisa! I would love to see a make up look to wear with eye glasses. Thanks!
Please do a facial massage/cleansing video! Thanks so much xx
I just want to second (or third or twenty-seventh) the request for a facial massage video! Sounds not only good for circulation but for stress; maybe usefull for all the students going into finals soon?
PLEASE do a video on facial massage. I so need it!

Would love to watch an updated skin care video😍
Thank you for your in depth explanations and informative videos as usual.
i need this makeup tutorial. Or at least just a list of the products used. LOVE IT!
i've had problems with my skin for years, it got a bit better after puberty and going to a dermatologist, but because i tend to have oily/combination skin but also sensitive skin, i'm having a really hard time to find the right products, i get breakouts from a lot of products, even by the whole range of certain brands..
i would love to see a massage video! :)
Would love to see a video on your weekly massages. Am very interested in whatever I can do for myself since I can't really go anywhere locally to get something done or get good tips.
I LOVE your voice! Just listening to you speak is so soothing!!
Really interesting Lisa. Will look at the other videos again
As always, looking gorgeous! Thanks for the video Lisa!
You always look glowing Lisa. I'm definitely going to try massaging my skin for 20 min twice a week. Please do a video on it!
Like so many others I too would LOVE to learn more about your facial massaging! Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into these videos
YES to the face massage video!! Thats always my fav part of a body massage! and it's a free anti aging treatment at home!! thanks Lisa!!
Yes! Yes! Face massage video, please!! Also, you don't use a clarisonic? Do you not like them?
