I think It is choice in life. Nothing is easy in life and nothing is difficult also. We give time to every relation in our life whether friend, mom,dad,sister, brother ,wife , husband etc. Likewise , we can take out time for us too to have a better relation with us.

Yes . Life is not that much easy till we think it in our thoughts. It becomes easy if we start thinking it as easy . The situations may not seem in favour to us, but if we do 10 min mediation daily, talk to ourself in morning, the thinking pattern will change and power to face the situation will increase automatically. :)
