Hope you enjoy the video and what do you think of the bag? By the way I have now realised the extra strap is to loop through the back of the bag and anchor it down to the rack for additional stability if required.👍
you have probably found out already what the extra Velcro strap is for by now, but just incase or anyone else it is a safety strap that loops on a part of the bag at the back and the rack frame that stops the case possibly sliding backwards off the rack on rough roads / trails etc , you don't want to find out 5 miles up the road that you have lost the case and battery 🙂
Yes I did thanks. I don’t like using it though as it’s tricky to attach. I’ve now got a waterproof cover for it (works like a shower cap) and a bigger strap to lock down the cover, which also keeps the back end of the bag firmly attached to the rack as it goes around the width of the bag. Thanks for watching and commenting.👍
@@wakeywarrior .. Google _"MIK, or Mounting is Key, is a bicycle rack system that allows cyclists to quickly and securely attach and remove bike accessories with a single click."_
@@wakeywarrior .. I tried to leave you a reply before, MIK is a more popular "standardized" connection between the rack and the bag or whatever attachment you're using.
That is much longer than my bag and maybe just what i need to carry an extra battery .i have a Nox xc with the Sachs /BMZ motor and battery . the battery is huge ( very long and heavy ) so i need a long bag .

WHY didn't they use the more standardized MIK than their MTX??
Sorry I don’t know what a MIK is ?
