What you say is true, I have a similar Story, I was completely addicted to Sin, took a lot of drugs for Years, drank a lot of Alcohol and smoked a lot. It got to the Point where I wanted to take my own Life and had the Bag of Gas over my Head, but Jesus held me and that's why I'm still here. That Night I prayed for a long Time and that completely changed my Life. Since then I have stopped taking Drugs, stopped smoking, stopped drinking Alcohol and have now ordered a Bible ✝️❤️ I love you soooo much Jesus ✝️❤️ Thank you for everything!

Love hearing how God swept you up and all of those people who came to how an encounter with our Savior. How I came to a saving knowledge of our Lord was God drawing me to visit a church. All my siblings and parents were not into church or presenting Jesus in the home. I was the only one who sought God out. Did not do crazy things or do drugs in my life. Never drawn to this. Just the spirit of the Lord bringing me to Him. Publicly got baptized and from there carried on walking with our King. 🙏💗

I actually attended Saddleback Church, when Lee was on staff there, and I had the opportunity to meet him on several occasions. But your story reminds me of a sermon series he did on how many atheists are that way because of hurt caused by their earthly father, and how they can’t come to terms with a God that’s a Heavenly Father that might love them and a Jesus that might love them enough to die for them, because of what they know in experiences related to their earthly father. I remember VERY CLEARLY this sermon series. Dennis Rodman was one of the people he interviewed for it, because Dennis lived in Orange County. I’m SO blessed to know that not only did Lee’s book meet you where you were in life, but also that his years of research into why people won’t accept a loving Heavenly Father into their life also spoke to your soul, and that BECAUSE of THAT, your soul will live on in eternity with your Father, who loves you enough that He gave His only Son for you.

This is the true meaning of acceptance! God Bless you Stephen. I was not taking drugs, but I was deep into the false teachings of new age belief of clairvoyance to do good for others (it is black magic and run by demons) from the age of 6 years old. God pulled me out and saved my soul. It took years to help me understand He pulled me out when all my interest of that life left me, (long 'in the process' story. I mourned the loss of that part of me) but finally I understood one day. It hit me like a truck and I excepted Jesus that very day. It has been two years and I walk with Jesus every day trying to be more like him and walk in God's teachings. It is hard work but I ask Jesus every day for help. The dark one does not want to let me go easily, so he tries to bring me sorrow almost everyday. I was after all a price stolen soul. I will stand with Jesus. Amen!

Hey brother. Same kinda of story. Hated my dad and God. My father was a narcissistic, womenizer, full blown used by God NYC evangelist. My little brother and I were born out of wedlock. He only had us. Died in 2018 with Tongue cancer. Hated God but living for Him everyday now. Thank you for your testimony. Hoping one day to give mine the right way.

I just found out my brother is addicted to heroin. Similar story with a horrible atheist father who was a blazing alcoholic. I broke free and Jesus saved my life. I don’t know how to help him. I don’t live there anymore either I’m in a different state. He says he believes in Jesus but I doubt he’s saved. He is just marred in sin and a sinful lifestyle and has been since we were teenagers. I know he’s very bitter and angry over many things. My mom who is NOT a believer also enables him and he treats her horribly. It’s a sick relationship and I’m at a loss. Please pray. His name is Don. I’m so afraid he will die from fentanyl.

Wow! I know what it is for the Lord to speak to me through the Holy Spirit. That still small voice. It's not abrupt. I wanted to leave God. And why because I had an abusive husband. I was the Lord's but he, my husband wouldn't leave me to the happiness I had found. The Lord told me... I accept you. I couldn't understand why he would say that. But I know now, I had been totally honest. And the Lord knew I really didn't want leave him. He knows everything. And I didn't leave. I let sin over take my life for a time but... I came back because you can't stay away from someone who loves you that much. It's hard to fully comprehend that love sometimes. I know this though... Jesus is worthy to be worshipped and praised.

Enjoyed the story and glad you accepted Christ as your personal Savior. So sorry that you had to go through that. My dad is a minister as well and I can really appreciate that he does practice what he preaches. I am very proud of him for who he is. He isn't perfect, but he does his best to be a shining light in a dark world. I asked Jesus in to my heart back in 2001 and I can say things are different in my life than they used to be. I didn't go through the heartaches or struggles that others have, but I still needed a Savior from my sins. I asked, and he accepted!
On a side note, the Hebrew word @3:19 is spelled incorrectly. The ayin (עׁ) is supposed to be to the right of the dalet (דׁ) with the diacritics under the ayin ( עֵד ). It is also pronounced 'ed'... Hebrew is written from right to left. 🙂
God can change any heart, but i believe it comes from within. We change our hearts to Gods grace because He can change our mentality and He offers something the world cannot give us. The fruits of the spirit and the truest essence of life comes from following Jesus. The world cannot give this.

Two soul approached gave this son Bible information
Nearly 3 pounds in money
Talked about Christ..I said I'm a true believer
Showed my prayer card on a strap I have on my neck
Name Jesus in the prayer card
Showed my star of David
And a symbol of the guiding star
Said no I'm not homeless just eating resting

Those who need YESHUA dont need to hear this testimony, this artist didnt even need to hear a testimony. In fact he told us he hated everything from "christianity". But christianity means nothing this days. Its a label to sell you something. To follow YESHUA means you die for him, you are dead to this world a new creation carrying the cross (dead) daily.
