My favorite math pop bands are good game, the most, and deathgender. For the more emo side of things, Origami Angel, Commander Salamander, and Stars Hollow (I’m friends with 2/3 of those bands, but they all make amazing music that should be recognized.)

Is mathska a thing? Because it should be a thing.
Clever girl no drum and bass in the jazz room comes close, but sadly I don't think so as ska relies on a double beat and (I'm certainly no expert in music so I could be wrong) that makes it difficult to work into the odd time signatures of math rock.

I know this video's a couple years old, but I had to comment. I LOVE THIS SONG !!!! You are so incredibly talented. Ska is definitely my favorite genre of music, but I also have a major soft spot for mathrock n shoegaze that most don't seem to share LOL. Anyway, this song absolutely fucken shreds. You might like my fav mathrock band, based in Japan, if you havent heard of them already. They're called "toe" and you can find them on Spotify. Anyway, I love everything you do, but would definitely be thrilled to see/hear more like this ! Much love

Math rock is one of my favorite genres. A local band, A Voice Like Rhetoric, was my first real show and they still have a special place in my heart.
