Eden cried from relief and overall emotion (it's a very emotional song for Israelis) and not because of the bullying... other than being proud of herself for performing magnificently despite the boos and heckles as she sang.
I don't believe that for a second ... gay people are the largest voters in UK in the Eurovision ... and trust me they do not support Israel at all ... the problem was that this time they kept the voting line open from the start of the show , for literally 3 hours, all you needed is 20 people sponsored by the Israeli government to keep calling and voting for 3 hours constantly and you would have generated these votes ... If for the Israeli government propaganda was important they would have invested into it 100% ... Someone like myself would have gone bankrupt calling for 3 hours ... but they have money to do it
That Israeli singer, about 20 YO, has been so courageous and resilient! She managed to do her thing brilliantly whilst constantly harassed, bullied, threatened and drowned in "the sound of hate"- even in the dressing rooms, by her fellow-singers, not to mention the shameful displays by them at every opportunity. Her only " crime" - being born in Israel. I think so many people were disgusted and outraged by that "sound of hate", and made their opinion known.
She definitely is the best singer, the song is perfect, the performance was excellent. The Jury where cowards to give so low points, or it was because of hate.
you did not need silent people, the fact that you can dial more than once from some number means all you needed is to have a group of people calling constantly for 2 hours , they had lines open this time from the start and gave them even more chance to generate these votes .... and someone like Israeli government who needs this propaganda would have invested into voting from each country ...literally paid a group of pro-Israeli people to keep voting constantly for 2 hours ... Shame on these Ignorant souls thinking that Eden Golan must be held responsible and therefore not allowed to represent Israel. The world is losing her sense of reason..and any common sense.
The public vote for Israel was far more impressive and crushing than people realize, because 14 of the nations voted Israel first as well as the rest of the world vote, and most of those 14 nations were the larger more populated European nations ,and if we use the stats from the semifinal voting as a probable example of how most of the nations voted, where the italian televote for israel was almost 40 % of their total vote with the Netherlands 2nd at 7%...then we can safely assume that those countries that voted for Israel did not simply vote Israel first ,but overwhelmingly so, so overwhelming that in all probability the votes for Israel in pure numbers were probably 4 to 5 x more than that of Croatia ,let alone switzerland which won.i think people worldwide saw this as an opportunity to voice their opinion on what is happening in the Middle East, and their opinion on blatant anti-semitism that is so prevalent at this time.they voiced their opinion unequivocally and unanimously in solidarity with the people of israel and Jewish people worldwide.the people have spoken.
I remember the first time Israel was included in the UrineVision (btw, they shouldn't be, and neither should Australia, total perversion of the "Europe" concept), the line of singer/dancers waved Israeli AND SYRIAN flags, in careful equal measure, to show their goodwill towards their neighbours....
@@letXeqX Yes, Syria was not in it, but these youths from Israel just wanted to express their desire for peaceful coexistence with Syria. I was very anti-Israeli back then (before I grew up !! ) but it really made me think...!
Wrong on so many accounts. Israel is included in the competition since 1973. The entry in which a band, called PingPong, waved flags of Syria was in 2000. That song was a total joke and it came out in the 22th place out of 24. The waving of Syrian flags by the band was done against the opposition of Israel Broadcasting Authority, which withdrew its name from the competition. Syria was never in the Eurovision and had nothing to do with this as a state, and probably not in any other way. With all due respect to the OP's feelings about the "perversion" of the European concept, the Eurovision is a project of European Broadcasting Union for it's members, and being a member of it is an economical thing more then anything else.
Israel is also playing in the European zone (UEFA) at football competitions and taking part in athletics tournaments (because they can't compete in a sea of enemies who want them destroyed), so there's nothing unique about their inclusion at ESC 🩵

Jumped from rap to opera fluently! He was alone on stage and felt he was really in a tornado you didn't want to see anymore! Israel was just a ring with spot lights, just another song patterns we know and a very good good voice but nothing unique or exceptional. Artistically, technically, performance, was Nemo by far.
Israel song was beautiful, sang by a 20 year old girl who went out on that stage, ignoring the idiots who were booing her. Israel should have won it.
As for our entry, the uk, it was shite song from a weak singer with a weak song.
What is the deal with UK at Eurovision? Year after year, your country sends ridiculous representatives and ends up at the bottom of the points list.

For a country that can produce the Beatles, Stones, Clapton, Bowie, Sabbath, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Cure, The Prodigy and so on (this list is mostly old music because I started to list chronologically and got tired, not because the UK stopped producing good musicians), it should be able to do better than the weak tea reps of the last few years.

Absolutely, and she's amazing, saw some interviews with her, very impressive.
Jeffrey Epstein might sign her up and let her sing on his island.
Kids killed in Gaza were only crime they were born there too.
She definitely is the best singer, the song is perfect, the performance was excellent. The Jury where cowards to give so low points, or it was because of hate.
She certainly has nuts! Brilliant song too...
Silent people voted for Israel
It' true. In ITALY 40% official voting was for Eden Golam
you did not need silent people, the fact that you can dial more than once from some number means all you needed is to have a group of people calling constantly for 2 hours , they had lines open this time from the start and gave them even more chance to generate these votes .... and someone like Israeli government who needs this propaganda would have invested into voting from each country ...literally paid a group of pro-Israeli people to keep voting constantly for 2 hours ... I myself made 10 calls in less than min, not for Israel obvi for Croatia and Switzerland ...

These were incomplete votes, most likely from fake numbers putting through votes. The votes were incomplete and couldn't be vetted, EBU is investigating. RAI who published these put out a statement
Regarding the publication of the results of the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, in the closing credits of this semi-final, Rai specifies that it was a technical problem following which some data - completely partial - were mistakenly highlighted in the graphics of the Italian national vote. These results, pursuant to the Regulations of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, can only be made public after the final evening. Rai promptly apologized to the EBU leaders and believes that this inconvenience does not affect the regularity of the final result. The published votes are in fact incomplete. But I do think it's a shame Eurovision is no longer a family event, where you hear a country's name, see their flag, get curious and read some about the country. There's too much sensuality going on for my liking. I'm 26, Dana international won the ESC in 1998 ( a trans woman) and I just grew up with the fact that trans and gay people exist, and they especially exist on the eurovision stage lol. Never thought too much of it, but now it's way too many men and women in corsets and free nipples and grinding to my liking lol. You can anything without sex being your main selling point. Then again, it's pop culture.

The Irish entrant is part of the annual freak show
I remember the first time Israel was included in the UrineVision (btw, they shouldn't be, and neither should Australia, total perversion of the "Europe" concept), the line of singer/dancers waved Israeli AND SYRIAN flags, in careful equal measure, to show their goodwill towards their neighbours....
Wow, I'm Israeli, did not know this. But Syria was not in eurovision? so how was this organized?
