The Railroad grade you found was the former Cumberland Valley and Waynesboro Railroad, and there used to be sand mines near Pond Bank! Ironic that you wanted to locate mines earlier and I assisted you to information about the sand mine facilities that Pond Bank used to supply. The railroad was ripped up in the 70's.
We also have a lady in white outside of our town except it's on a old county road. Have yet to see it for myself though, just a lot of stories. I do however love those old stories! Thanks for sharing!!
Kinda like the story of "Crybaby Bridge"?? Love your walk-aways. That is a cool effect. Not sure your heart is in the "haunted" genre. People watch you for a walk in the woods.....the beautiful scenery and peaceful ambiance.
Leagend also says there is a train at bottom of pond.. use to go there all the time at night and scare the hell out of friends who would tag along ... good times lol
There's VhS tape of her running toward the camera mouth wide open, scary as all hell. Camcorder tape, friends have it. They need to get it on something to upload 😳
Its turn i grow up in pond bank and you can still hear the train at night and the white women as we called her will cry for her baby at night and comes out to look for her baby but if your around she will get you
If I see a ghost of white lady I will break land speed record for running through the woods by the time I get to car I would have one shoe on close rip up .
