Advance your Warp!

- There is very definitely an area between the heddle and the cloth roller where the weft will meet the fell-line at the optimal angle for weaving accuracy.
This is known as the 'Sweet Spot' - just as there is a 'sweet spot' the centre of the head of a tennis racket or a squash racket - so there is a sweet spot on our looms.
Weaving too close to the heddle or too close to the cloth roller will have a definite effect on the sett of the weft in our work.
It is ALWAYS best practice to advance your warp more, rather than less often during the course of your work - it does make a difference - promise!
