Gavin only a redshirt sophomore definitely progressing slowly if he can just improve on his accuracy and improve his pocket awareness bout time he a senior he will be putting up big numbers

Big strong arm, nice touch on contested throws to WR. Locked too much into primary receiver and fails to make projections. Happy feet---too willing to give up on plays too easily and then throws ball away---which in some way is good b/c you do not force bad throws. But he needs to learn to stick more in the pocket and shift feet and step up rather than wholesale ditching the pocket altogether. Good arm mechanics.

Pound the rock and play action should be the offense. He can throw it. Just needs more time and running the ball helps the pass game.

I really don’t get why the game plan was air it out with the weather like this, didn’t help him this game but atleast they have confidence in him.

Had to keep M-State honest or else they would have stacked the box. #5 ended up with over 140 yards on the day so I say keep it going.

Once they got behind they kinda had to throw so they didn’t kill the clock down multiple possessions it’s why he barely ran in the 3rd quarter
