Still baffles me that Paul and Gene don’t understand that the combination of the 4 is what made KISS. Sure they can get others to fill the spots but it’s just not KISS. Even like van Hagar was great, but it still wasn’t Van halen to me. Just my personal take, it still was amazing but without diamond Dave it wasn’t the OG

Ace Freyley was the original lead guitarist for the band , KISS . After he left I believe this was on his first solo record. Ps This is a cover of E L O orchestra. Also from late 60's from the band The Move > same singer > Jeff Lynne

But he also has some great songs of his own that he did some of those include: from his 1978 solo album: rip it out, speeding back to my baby, snowblind and of course new york groove.(although that one is a cover too, ha) then in the 1980s with his band Frehley’s Comet: breakout, rock soldiers, insane, calling to you and we got your rock then late 80’s when he was solo again: trouble walking, hide your heart, remember me and then the 2000s: inside the vortex, i wanna go back, rocking with the boys. hope to see more reacts and hope you enjoy going down this rabbit hole if you choose
You don't know Ace, well you should get to it. This guy is one of the most influential guitarists in rock history. If he is not in the top 5 in a list then he has to be in the top 10, if not then the list is bull. The number of people that he inspired to pick up and learn guitar is staggering. From well known musicians to people outside of the entertainment industry. If Ace had not picked up the guitar there is no telling how rock music would be today, so many bands would not even exist.
There is only one Ace Frehley, KISS thought they could use a cover band guitarist but the real fans will tell you there is only one and you just watched him.
