OMG...I remember gathering in groups of like 6 people or so and dancing to this song at an under 21 club called Abracadabras. I was dressed like Adam Ant all the time, and my friends would design trash bag dresses...LOL What great fun, and no drugs involved.

I am from Chi-Ill, too and I remember when WBMX (in its heyday) played the hell out of this song, as did WLUW and WCRX (Loyola and Columbia College, respectively). I got the "Gross Pointe Blank" Soundtrack #2 and it is on it.
NYC... back when there was no cable and you had like 10 stations, if you "turned" the dial into the 20's there was a grainy video show... they played this and a Vanity 6 video 100 times a day
Oh Yeah! i remember how wild this vid was in '84! i used to dance to it at the club and the Lady i was with would pull me down by my hair, and place Her boot on me [ sort of a S&M dance] This vid brought back some real COOL memories! Thanks!
the more i watch this -the more think there might be another version... is there an alt. i seem to remember a bit where she is sitting on a wall in the junk yard and jumps down -whilst smoking... i don't see that bit in this and that has always been the image that had stuck with me -i was young so maybe i imagined it... or perhaps there is an alt??? oh well any way thanx again for posting this.
