I lived in freezing cold Ontario for a couple of decades. By comparison , the winters are so mild in the Pacific Northwest. I am not complaining but I cannot get used to it.

I love the pacific northwest! I lived in spokane when i was a kid in th 90s, as well as Montana and idaho. Freshest air.

I am interested in taking some of the other routes by BC Ferries. There are routes to Nanaimo and Salt Spring Island that I have not taken yet.

It was really windy. My eye glasses almost blew off my face. Yikes.
