Today was a day of #railfanning
I filmed the Rocky Mountaineer locomotive in the #trainyard and I filmed three Canadian National #locomotives passing under the The Militant Mothers of Raymur pedestrian bridge. I saw an old-timey steam roller and I ate a butter chicken pizza.

I saw a #coyote #puppy in #Vancouver. Remember that coyotes are protective of their pups. The parents will bite humans. Avoid areas with a den.

Very cool! I looked up the area on Google Earth, and even found the steam roller (not sure why I felt compelled to do that, lol). The Militant Mothers really had an impact; good for them! Thanks for waiting around to catch the train footage...good stuff! It's always seemed to me that train's efficiency and practicality goes 'out the window' when they've reached their destination (so hard and awkward to maneuver, unload, and get that freight the last few miles). But what do I know? Am always impressed with your hats, and this one didn't disappoint 13:00 !! And now I want pizza (a steam roller would be cool, too. It'd be cathartic, squashing anything that dared to arrest my forward progress 🤔). Great video! 👍 🍕 Edit: That dog made my cat shoot two feet into the air
It has occurred to me that a steamroller would be a very effective way to flatten pizza dough.

Wo, what was that at 6:54 ? A sundial? Victoria is beautiful, so colorful and vibrant. Red Dragon is awesome, and Chinatown was neat....loved the narrow alleyways. What an adventure, and those ferries seem great.....I'd love that. I lol'd at "my family are good people....but I'm here for the pizza." 😅😂 And of course, the substantive pizza review is always appreciated. 👌 I hope you had a good visit with your family. I think that it is a sundial. Victoria is a nice city. Young people always want to leave and go live in Vancouver because Victoria is very quiet.

I visited the family and had just enough time to walk through Chinatown. I have my priorities straight so I had a slice of pizza first. I was also wondering about a copyright claim because of the background music. I let the copyright check complete before clicking “publish”. As long as you do not hit “publish”, you do not have to worry about a strike against your channel. The music was mixed up with other background noise so there were no red flags.
@@FrigginKlar a claim is not the same as a strike. For music, the owner can claim the revenue on your videos and even put ads on them if they like. Not to worry, RUclips has a tool to cut out the music in the future, if needed. Good thing you got the pizza first🍕

@@FrigginKlar I have no employees at all so I’m free of that. I’m not going to monetize my videos just want memberships and that’s all. I have no interest in doing the 4,000 hour/ 1000 subs thing. I’m safe with that.

Some cities only wish their trains moved that quickly between stations (and more importantly, stop as easily)
Vancouver has quite an impressive light rail system. I went to Europe a couple of years ago and European trains are very fast and punctual.

@FrigginKlar It is amazing what adding a little music can do to a video. I need to explore that option, but I am confounded by copyright issues and stuff... I don't understand it.
When I upload a video, I stop at the third step “Checks”. At the “checks” step, RUclips is searching for copyright problems. It takes about fifteen minutes. You will only get into trouble if you ignore this step and hit “publish”. On my video of the DOA concert two months ago, I knew that the music was copyrighted. I waited for the “checks” to be completed and it told me “copyright owner allows you to use the content”. You would have to cancel the upload if you are not allowed to use the music. And you would have to edit the video again without the music.
