  • The South Padre Island Birding Center was a great find! So interesting and loved seeing the beautiful birds including roseate spoonbills! It was a bonus being able to feed the tortoises. Come on y'all - let's go!

Yes! Enjoyed the birds! Such a nice place to visit. Winter would be a great time to go! Thanks for taking us along Coast to Coast. Doesn’t cost to hit the thumbs up.

Always love areas like this, but its those crocs that really scare me a lot! Hope all went well with Beryl. The remnants hit us yesterday evening and caused extensive damage and one young fella lost his life. Keep yourselves well and hope you have an awesome weekend.

@@wendingourway strangely it doesn’t bother me too much to walk past one about 10 feet away sunning on the lake shore but seeing that many together is kinda creepy.
Beryl: oh dear I am so sorry to hear that. I hadn’t imagined it would still be so bad still. We were without power 59 hours or so- really hard to sleep at night but we’re blessed to have it back now. Some people still don’t. I believe 3 have perished due to heat so far. I think everyone has learned not to scoff at a Cat 1. Thanks for stopping by!
