I would like more of these builders to build on a double lots for the non-canal homes, giving the home some more sq footage and a larger backyard. Obviously that isn't possible on the nicer canal lots that run $200-300k, but the $30-100k lots it'd nice option. My big pet peeve with these newer homes that have this same layout is the master walk-in closets are always very small in the 2000-2800sq ft homes. Other than that, the builder did a very nice job for the price point, the rv/boat garage is a unique plus as I found the 2+1 garages rarely fit more than 2 cars anyway.
I agree with you. The largest lot you can get is a triplex lot. To be able to buy one lot next to the other is a challenge. This builder construction is very detailed on the finish product.
