I just want to stress this very, VERY clearly. Goku, an untrained mortal martial artist, after witnessing the Hakai, managed to not only replicate its creation, but it’s effect, and apply it in a moment of desperation. That is some genius level intellect. I know we make fun of Goku for being dumb, but truthfully, he’s like a lot of people. He’s not book smart, but he’s good at what he does, maybe even the best.
@@lilkittygirl Not untrained in that manner. I meant untrained in the destroyer arts. And even if being leant the power, he still has to have a grasp of how it’s executed. You don’t just know how to wire a house because you have a book that says how.

if you were going to mention somthing as obscure as the super god shock flash im surprised you did not mention the dragon fist, that move is hype and currently has a 100% kill rate despite only being used 2 or 3 times.
I think the reason Goku doesn't use the instant Kamehameha anymore is because it's a killing technique. He catches you off guard and launches a massive blast of ki into your torso. That is the only moment in Goku's adulthood where he truly was "bloodlusted" and tried to kill an opponent in one shot. Goku at this point really does not want to kill anymore so that's probably why he doesn't use this specific technique.

Lets not forget that goku after seeing a move happen once or twice can replicate it for himself or dodge the attack as stated in the series. You cant hit goku with the same attack more than once or twice because hes adapted to it
It would be fun to list out the techniques goku have copied through out the series because so far i don't think he's come up with his own techniques yet.
Maybe not a pure form technique of his own (though part of me feels like there actually is one from way back when, just can't remember what)...but he's a quick study and is very creative in the way that he adapts other people's techniques to suit his own purpose. If he didn't learn anything new you'd all be moaning about one dimensional fights
Solar Flare is legitimately one of the most effective utility techniques in the series. Its so weird its not used more often to set up bigger attacks. Its something literally no one os immune to. Its a hyperpowered flashbang going off right in your opponent's eyes.
"literally no one is immune to" Master Shen and the Announcer displayed their immunity to Taiyoken when Tien Shienhan was fighting Jackie Chun in the 22nd. Goku borrowed a mighty powerful item from Master Roshi, to gain immunity himself for his fight again Tien in the 22nd. And Master Roshi and the Announcer where once again showing their immunity when Goku used it against Tien in the 23nd. And skipping many uses during the tournament of power Krillin attempted to use Taiyoken 100x against Majora, who, to their shock as well, was fully immune to it. Because, it's literally not a flashbang, which combines a visual and audial flash to disorient, and not "going off right in your opponent's eyes", where did you get that bullshit from, it's originating from the user. It's a "hyperpowered" flashlight at max. And a waste of power if you don't connect.
@@Robin93kyeah, but when it works... remember krillin used it on Gohan to outsmart him during their training for the TOP, or was it the multiverse tournament?
@@soullessginger9912 Oh, lol. I think it's literally only worked once. Though I think it's only been used four time in canon, once against Vegeta where it almost worked, it hit Freeza but I don't think it did too much. It wasn't used against Cell at all, right? It worked on Buu, and then failed against Jiren.
Imo I think reading minds comes naturally to people in the DBZ universe who can sense power levels. Considering one is sensing another's lifeforce from either a galaxy or even a entirely different universe.
in the Anime Goku actually uses the Warp Kamehameha against Toppo/Top in the Tournament Expo while in SSBKK. To be honest I think the battle with Toppo and Goku was a recreation of Goku and Cell’s battle, anyone agree?
nope. he can emulate the ki he sensed when he witnessed its use. but it will fail because it's a skill bestow to GoD by angels. Kais don't get it either. even when soul bounded with a GoD. it's a higher being skill, given to a lower/mortal being. no magic or training unlocks.
@@logandarnell8946 when a GoD uses hakia. Things are erased from existence. Top's version, as a GoD in-training not given the ability, was obliteration. No evidence that his "hakia", can erase the essence/atoms/ki/soul from existence in all planes like a real hakai. It's shown his hakai is a massive obliterating/damaging force. Not a technique thats, selecting what is to be no more, and willing it out of existence. Hakia doesn't partially hit. The user determines what no longer exists, up to a planetary scale. The Zeno's take it further and go universal/temporal scale.
Wouldnt the fact that he used it in the later parts of the series immediately imply it wasnt forgotten? Mafuba was also used- while not by goku, was in fact used- during the tournament of power by roshi. Just because its not used in every single instance doesnt mean it was forgotten. As amazing as the instant transmission kamehameha is, I think he avoids using it because of the drawbacks of its use. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and concentration, and leaves him vulnerable to counter attacks while he is doing it.
@@Kude1707 A lot of his modern-day opponents would survive it. Although they'd still be knocked out instantly, and Goku thinks there's no fun in ending fights that quickly.

Imagine having a safe full of guns. 9mm, ARs, Sniper Rifles, Magnums, Shotguns, Submachine guns, Machine Guns and even a fucking Blunderbuss. And every other day someone tries to break into your crib to kill you or steal from you. But you NEVER decide to use your arsenal more than once. That is how Goku rolls.
I mean Goku can't use solar flare where there is no sun and Goku doesn't kill any villian as he wants to give them a 2nd chance.Same with instant Kamehameha. The others he used them
Stupid comparison, but okay...
@@madhusudhantilak9493 solar flare has nothing to do with the sun except for the name. It's a ki technique dude, he's not superman he doesn't need the sun to charge it, he can use it anywhere anytime.

There was that one time in the cooler movie where goku heals a bird, and he never used it again.
"untrained"
Um, Goku is far from "untrained".
Also, Beerus loaned him some destroyer power. That Hakai was from Beerus, not Goku.
@@lilkittygirl Not untrained in that manner. I meant untrained in the destroyer arts. And even if being leant the power, he still has to have a grasp of how it’s executed. You don’t just know how to wire a house because you have a book that says how.
@@hilosky In the destroyer arts, yes. I said “martial artist”. I’ve never met a single untrained martial artist who’s good at it.
@@abysswicked9076 But Goku is trained. His primary martial art is the Turtle School Style that he learned under Master Roshi. He was then further trained by Master Korin, Mr. Popo and Kami, and King Kai.
if you were going to mention somthing as obscure as the super god shock flash im surprised you did not mention the dragon fist, that move is hype and currently has a 100% kill rate despite only being used 2 or 3 times.
It's sadly non-canon. From what I can recall it was only used in Movie 13: wrath of the dragon and in GT against Super 17.

@@trentonxpikkon?
Yeah and toppo
I think the reason Goku doesn't use the instant Kamehameha anymore is because it's a killing technique. He catches you off guard and launches a massive blast of ki into your torso. That is the only moment in Goku's adulthood where he truly was "bloodlusted" and tried to kill an opponent in one shot. Goku at this point really does not want to kill anymore so that's probably why he doesn't use this specific technique.
yea but we all know the characters that have shown up in dbs like caulifla and jiren and top and broly arnt gonna be easily killed by it anyway so im pretty sure its fine.
@@Shadowizzmoneygang

Lets not forget that goku after seeing a move happen once or twice can replicate it for himself or dodge the attack as stated in the series. You cant hit goku with the same attack more than once or twice because hes adapted to it
unless your jiren
It would be fun to list out the techniques goku have copied through out the series because so far i don't think he's come up with his own techniques yet.
Maybe not a pure form technique of his own (though part of me feels like there actually is one from way back when, just can't remember what)...but he's a quick study and is very creative in the way that he adapts other people's techniques to suit his own purpose. If he didn't learn anything new you'd all be moaning about one dimensional fights

*“AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!-“*
😆😀😁😂🤣😃😄
Solar Flare is legitimately one of the most effective utility techniques in the series. Its so weird its not used more often to set up bigger attacks.
Its something literally no one os immune to. Its a hyperpowered flashbang going off right in your opponent's eyes.
"literally no one is immune to"
Master Shen and the Announcer displayed their immunity to Taiyoken when Tien Shienhan was fighting Jackie Chun in the 22nd.
Krillin has used it on a few occasions

People forget just how deep Goku’s bag really is.
He can also read minds, and instantly calm people down (I’m guessing that’s what he was doing to Broly).

Kais don't get it either. even when soul bounded with a GoD. it's a higher being skill, given to a lower/mortal being. no magic or training unlocks.

Not a technique thats, selecting what is to be no more, and willing it out of existence.
Hakia doesn't partially hit. The user determines what no longer exists, up to a planetary scale. The Zeno's take it further and go universal/temporal scale.
He also used instant kamehameha on beerus in the movie if you remember
Wouldnt the fact that he used it in the later parts of the series immediately imply it wasnt forgotten? Mafuba was also used- while not by goku, was in fact used- during the tournament of power by roshi. Just because its not used in every single instance doesnt mean it was forgotten.
That being said bring back handheld spirit bomb
As amazing as the instant transmission kamehameha is, I think he avoids using it because of the drawbacks of its use. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and concentration, and leaves him vulnerable to counter attacks while he is doing it.

Great choice. Back then Goku couldn’t fly so he had to bust it out on Piccolo Jr. It could definitely come back but I don’t think it would fit in with modern dragon ball.

Pretending to be a monkey (son goku vs jackie chun)
The oonzaru (son goku vs pilaf/son goku vs jackie chun)

The fingers in the eyes (fight against yamcha)
Biting (fight against wild animals, frieza, whis and buu)

Dreams in which he can see the situation (the androids and cell's physical apparances and strengh)
Grabbing the tail (used against Raditz, never used against Nappa, Vegeta, Broly or Thales)
Grabbing ennemy by the tail and make them spin (fight against frieza)
Aikido technique (just used once during the princess snake's filler episode)
When the ennemy uses head following fireballs: Rushing toward the ennemy, pause in front of their face, smile and then jump (tenkachi budokai: fight against piccolo jr)
Ally throwing (used with frieza against jiren)
Running after an ennemy until they're out of breath (wild animals, oolong, the ninja working for the red ribbon army, bubbles, gregory, Goz and Mez)

I'm sure there are more, but I can't remember them.
The instant kamehameha can't be considered a sort of technique. It's a combination of two entirely different moves, that Goku made up in desperation to beat cell. While it did work, Goku never used this enough times for it to be considered a technique, as one is something that is known and used give or take regularly.
(Of course, it was used again during the Moro Arc. But let's be real, that arc is just a remodeled cell saga. Most of it is the exact same, so big surprise, I don't think this one counts).
